Ms. Clara sent me on a 21 day hiatus for "continuous personal attacks" I'm going to complete her sentence and assume that these attacks were on a pcommer, tough it wasn't stated which one or what was said. Pubby never answered my email. Shrug. The good news is I'm back...for a day. And I got heaps of work done. How's my peeps?! Imma gonna need some help raising the mayberries folks!

I'm down there all the time; I used to live down there...but, it does seem like the petty crime/panhandling has increased recently. When violent crimes, or crimes of opportunity start to crank up I get a bit more nervous. Daylight, yes. But there's be a number of night time incidents on the Tech campus and random violent crimes of opportunity than I remember in the past.

A carjacking?? I was down there earlier this week with my kids!!

At the end of the day, it's all excuses. If you're an adult and you choose to be fat, be happy about being fat...because the worst thing in the world is listening to a fat person talk about how they want to be thin whlist eating a cheeseburger. If your kid is unhealthy (insert ailment here) and you don't do anything about it, or further do things to perpetuate the problem, then you should lose your kid and be stoned to death.

This is great, but surely you must agree that you are the exception, not the rule. Would you condone a parent smoking in a house with a small child? Most people wouldn't, because of the dangers we now know of second hand smoke and that it's a fairly small thing to do to walk outside if a parent wishes to engage in behavior that could be dangerous to a child. But, if a parent decides that cooking healthy meals just isn't for them (for whatever reasons) and the child suffers obesity (health and mental effects thereof), this is somehow excusable and acceptable?
