The problem comes that there is no vested interest in the wellbeing of the pool for people that don't view it as an extension of their personal financial investment. Not to mention, HOA's with pools run around $200/month - I don't many people willing to pay that for pool privileges.

I was just going to offer to go in halvsies on this stupid thing and just put them down there and be done with it. Least then I could float.
