  1. I'm desperate to buy the Closer Soundtrack (it's a movie called Closer), and I can't find it. Checked itunes, amazon and ebay!! I've checked FYE, Borders and Best Buy. Did a Google search...any ideas?
  2. I love it when they say that they don't care and then they're absolutely SHOCKED that their husband runs around. This isn't all men, but c'mon ladies....a little effort most of the time goes a long way.
  3. Just gave you full read/write. You fed Zed last week - does he need it weekly? Is he crying? Tell mom I <3 her.
  4. Great, so the weekend of the 22nd. I'll get Cleatus to tell us what we need and lend me one of those long wrench things - to be used for proper plumbing and not lesbian activities. Please make plans to store your children elsewhere.
  5. Then in 2 weekend. I like drunk lesbians. That's what I'm putting on the FB invite. I'll be back over in Sept. WAFL!! I'll finalise my dates and get them to you!
  6. In my heart of hearts, I do believe this statement. I try to make sure that I look appropriate, however if a body of water or Walmart is involved - hot mess. I'm a fan of bermuda shorts, but you have to be careful, they can have the same effects as capris, which is why I wear them with wedges.
  7. I called dibs on Cleatus this afternoon. You'll have to get in line - OR, and this was my original suggestion - NC does know what she's doing so we all get together next weekend and get our drink on whilst changing 3 faucets. PS WAFL, I got a care package from the UK today with TEA!! I'm enjoying a cup now. I'm very happy.
  8. No, I'm not. I'm the United effing Nations! But, really, I can clean, but home improvement stuff is just...not for me. Let's be real, would any woman get married if she enjoyed home improvements or mowing the lawn? I think not.
  9. I just went to home depot. It was a disaster. Ended up calling NC and asking her what plumbers tape was, and a stick looking wrench. She offered me her husband for the task of changing my faucets. Apparently, she'll let me pay in sexual favors to her. I left with caulk and need to return for weather stripping (might be called a door sweep, no definitive answer here), that I have no idea how to apply - I'm not even sure why I need it other than the one that's on there now is more yellow than the bright white door. And I need to know how to clean the outside of my windows. And how in th
  10. Unless you can pull off Victoria Beckham's truly high fashion, it's probably best to keep it a conservative inch or 2 above the knee max. I have a couple, but as a general rule, I do a lot of knee length pencils. They hug my curves but leave enough to the imagination - it's just a more classy look IMO. Now, I'll rock the hell out of a mini for my partner, but generally keep that to the bedroom or the occasional out of town special request. If you look at a majority of the over 30 crowd rocking the recent mini craze, they are beyond thin and I think the bulk of the reason that they ca
  11. Hear.ya. She got away with murder, plain and simple. But hey, Oprah is getting OJ's conviction decades later. I'm sure she'll wash her soul eventually.
  12. http://lineup.musicmidtown.com/ The Black Keys and Coldplay headline! Heck yes!
  13. ". If you weren't divorced wouldn't you have some expectations for his dad to participate if situations like this came up?? " Gosh, you're so right...and I was thinking about this on my way in this morning. I absolutely would! And you're right, I wouldn't have an ounce of guilt! I don't know why I feel like I have to overcompensate for getting divorced, but I do! ETA: I think I'm slowly transforming into a man.
  14. Thank you all! Really. Thank you! I'm menstrual. Poor NC.
  15. I'm really struggling with my work/life balance. I've been up since 4am. In the office since 6am. I have to go abroad and miss my son's first day of school. All of this is really exciting for me professionally, but it's causing me to ride these waves of highs at work and lows when I have to tell my son that, "mommy has to miss the first day of school for work". When I'm home, for the most part, I'm 100% focused on him, and truth told, he's no worse for the wear. He's 9 now and so spending more time with dad isn't so bad - but, I can't help but feel like a terrible mother. Someone
  16. 100% agree (lovely sport analogy - you're a star). The legal analyst were saying that they were over prosecuting since the very start of the trial.
  17. No, in the US you do not have personal responsibility. This mother was responsible for the welfare of a child. For 30 DAYS she neglected that responsibility and the child died as a result. Directly or not - she is responsible for the death. This is no different than a doctor administering a drug with an undisclosed side effect that results in the death of a patient. Is it the doctors fault, or the drug company - the drug company charged with disclosing this information? It's crap.
  18. My brain wants to say you're correct, but the way our laws are structured basically remove jurors from any independent thought, ie. the ability to draw conclusions between circumstances to make reasonable and logical connections. I don't know about you, but I do this every minute of every day. If you look at every other thing in life, we base decisions it behaviors, algorithms and logic. Except in our judicial system - that's where it all goes out the window. Tough on the jurors, no doubt, wonder who will make the first million on the book deal...oh, wait, that will be Anthony herself.
  19. Unfortunately not!!!! NC, that is a PERFECT PLAN!
