I'm watching Oprah and she has nuns on...anyways, one of them graduated from Harvard. That made me wonder, can nuns do work outside of being a nun? Gosh, all that school and such a pedigree school...I believe that God is a calling, but I can't help but feel that it's a bit of a waste of education (let me be clear - in no way a waste). It's a very selfless occupation, but one that probably only requires seminary (or whatever they call it for nuns).

Ugh, Tracy is the random lesbian affair she had to keep her name in the papers while RHoA was on hiatus. She totally used that girl...and when this Kroy kid freaked out about her being knocked up, she asked Tracy to help her raise the baby. I LOVE it! Holidays kick off tomorrow with the family Thanksgiving trip! Next weekend I will be sans kid AND man (woot!) and will finish what little bit of shopping I have left and then I will make a big pitcher of spiked eggnog, put on Christmas favorites and do my Christmas cards and begin wrapping and decorating. The next weekend, we take our family trip to get the tree and decorate while we enjoy too many bottles of Stags Leap and make a big crockpot of chili or beef stew. My son's school has a mission trip for high schoolers. It used to be to Haiti, since the school has a sister school there, but not anymore. This year they will be going to Barbados. I fully intend to send him (and to chaperon the trip).

We don't do gifts on Christmas - just to the kids. And we stuff eachother's stockings.

I loved the SCT if I'm by myself...but I DO NOT take my 8 year old on the trail. There are some steep declines and the bikers come flying screaming "LEFT"! Scares the crap out of my son and I'm afraid he's going to go over the edge. It's sad that I can't even use this resource that my tax dollars pay for...but, hey, I get highways to drive on and it only costs me a few grand a year!

This year I'm thankful for my health, my friends (old and new :wub) and my wonderful family...but most of all, I'm thankful that I found unemployment. Actually, a lot of my unemployed friends landed jobs this year. so, what are you thankful for this year?

There are a lot of people that do not know you have to pay taxes on gifts. I'm sure there are a number of people in the audience that have never filled out more than a 1040EZ at H&R Block. People get in trouble that way. As for the car - please make sure that you put the dumb ass fake flower in the vase so that to maximize my entertainment value.

What does that have to do with the price of tea? The scanners purchased (why don't you focus on who's pockets that must be lining), are L-3 ProVision scanners, which use MMW technology. STOP THE MONGERING!!!! How many more sites do people have to show you?? I've posted links to a number of sources that say this scanners put out less radiation then a cell phone...so, stop with this point. It's fear mongering, go get your tin foil hat!
