Good for you!! I really can't wait for the socialized medicine to kick in so that everyone can see what it's like. Sharing a maternity ward with 3 other women, having to take your last breath in a room with 3 other dying people, having to wait 4 hours while you're 7 months pregnant and bleeding, waiting 4 months to get an ultrasound for fibroids, and another 3 for surgery. These are all things my family got to experience this year in a socialized healthcare system. Sounds awesome!

We're a society that lacks personal responsibility. And all the rich white people I know are well aware that it's against the law to drive drunk. All of that said - I do feel that affluenza is a plague on our children. I even find myself struggling with a pre-teen that has no concept of money, personal responsibility and consequences. The kid did go through due process, your anger should be at the jury.

This case is strange, but no sinister. I also don't think that there is any organ harvesting going on. I do think that the organs were disposed of for a reason, but not profit or satanic ritual - maybe to hide toxins? I also agree, sniff out the money. Someone at school killed this kid and law enforcement right on through is helping to make it go away. Valdosta is a VERY small town at the end of the day, and most of the blacks in south GA are uneducated and poor. I'm certain no one thought that these folks were going to make such a fuss.

Thank you all for your prayers. I know that she's in a better place, but I also know that my BIL is suffering. He brought her a Christmas tree yesterday. And lost her thing morning. Life is just so unfair sometimes.

Wow. This is pretty crazy!! I used to live a block from Manuel's, so many, many nights were spent there. There are some old boys that will be none too happy.

After a good fight, my SIL finally succumbed to her brain cancer. She leaves behind an adoring husband and beautiful 4 year old. She hung on to see her nephew born, share another birthday with her son, and enjoy her 1 year wedding anniversary. Such a sad time for the family, but also some relief that she's now in a better place. Please keep my family in your prayers - as we all know, the hardest times come after all the friends and family have gone. Here she is at her wedding. No. The 99% is a misnomer. Teachers make $50K if they CHOOSE to continue their education. So, you get $30K out of school, and as you gain tenure and training, your compensation increases. Let me help you understand this line graph. The blue line represents entry level positions. The reason that it is stagnant is because the economy is structured so that these are transient positions, meaning, entry level to better income, seasonal and young workers. If the blue line increased, there would be no motivation for anyone to better themselves. You're kidding, right? Oh honey, no no. You see, I have sense and know that driving that shining new car is the same as lighting $7k+ on fire. I've learned this from having bought my own first car, financed myself at 18. Said life lessons are the reason why I'm not jealous. Believe what you want however - I do suppose I'm a little jealous that she gets to sit home and nap all day while I have to go to work.
