Keep me in mind for "labor." I might be able to get a few boys to help with the lawn cutting thing.

It's probable WH gave them a mangers position at another store, so they could "work" it off. Read: they took the money out of their checks. It has happened before.

It's not the romantsized idea of my childhood. I have been back home, the last time was 3 years ago. Before that it was in 2004. I seen with my own eyes how it changed, and not for the better. I keep up with what goes on down there, because my older sister still lives there, and I worry about her. She lives in the same house she had had for more then 45 years. I have nieces, and nephews there as well.

WPB is in no way the WPB I grew up in. I have family there that would move in heart beat if they wouldn't lose so much on their houses.

My sister has a cleaning business in Myrtle Beach. She cleans a lot of the vacation houses. I'll ask her if she has any leads for you.

Hint: you do not want to move to West Palm Beach. Trust me on this.

You and me both.

You know I usually find myself agreeing with your post, but poverty is not to blame for anything. It's knowing that if it's not yours don't touch it. If you didn't pay for it, it wasn't given to to you, it's not yours. How is poverty to blame for crime? I swear I wonder if some of you have every been poor. Some of the excuses I am seeing....well I just have to shake my head. How many of you that want to blame every thing except the individual have ever been poor, or homeless? Many more people who have been poor and/or homeless don't fall into criminal activity. Heck one of the rioters (sp

Oh I know what they are eligible for (as long as the baby daddy doesn't live with them.) I also know that if you have a job, and you have any ambition (which is being bred out) then you will look at the minimum wage job as a stepping stone. Also if you have a job you find a way to get to it, some how some way. What is a "living" wage? I have seen this business model in practice, the company ends up with a revolving door of employees. Mainly because those same employees work long enough to find a better job. Been there, done that, got the tee-shirt. As far as crime, don't hesitate to ca

No, it doesn't. It should be an incintive to improve yourself. But, as long as people continue to belive that minimum wage equates to poverty, that's where they will stay. I hope you don't tell someone who makes minimum wage, that that's where they will always be. I would hope that you would say "It's a start, at least you can start paying your bills, where you go from here is up to you." I used to make minimum wage. I took classes while working the minimum wage job. I also kept my job so that I could get real work experience, and am now able to ask for much higher then minimum wage. But,

First prayers for the ones involved. I'm curious, Are these accidents happening more when someone is making a left onto 61 from Old Villa Rica? Or a right? Or both? I don't go that way very often (mostly b/c I forget,) but when I do I am using it as a cut thru to 61, and turning right onto 61.

Yes, as long as RV is UTD you should be fine. Give her a couple of denta-sticks, or if she will let you rub a washcloth along the gum line and teeth. Might help with the breath. Did it again.

Quick check there might be a fissure somewhere.

Good dog!!! I don't know if it will work or not, but you could try the tomato juice bath. I hear that you use that if your dog gets sprayed by a skunk.

Hey, I had a small emergency. I will call you tomorrow!

We have a 96 Dodge 1500 (I think that's what it is) and a 98 Blazer. I have had to replace the catalytic converters on the Blazer.

Just wondering if it could be the ethanol in the gas? Granted we have never had a new car so I don't know. Knock on wood we haven't had any problems like this.

You are so right. I keep a look out for stories like this. -
Those are really cool.

Papi, As a parent whose child has ADD I know that it is very real. There are many ways to treat/manage this. Medication is most often the absolute last resort. Most of the parents who deal with this are rejecting as did I the medication route. I do wonder if by your callous remarks if you would tell a veteran that PTSD is just a made up disorder? W/O medication.

You are very welcome, call me anytime.

We take a b complex every day, along with our multiples. I can tell the difference if I miss one day.

Well as you can see there are many, many, many different degrees of ADD/HD. There are just as many ways to handle it, what works for one may not work for your child. The key is to gather all the information, then decide what you want to do. You are the one to make the absolute best decision for YOUR child. For my son, the key was strict schedule, diet, and behavior modification. I didn't have any issues with him learning to read, matter of fact he went into school reading at a 2nd grade level. (Oh yea that was fun, when the teacher kept giving him K books.) We never medicated him. He grad
