Lets see human LIFE. Almighty dollar. Did you really just make that comparison??? SMH Thank your DH for being there. And, like you I will not be encouraging this. Never have, never will. -
I didn't know you had to have a certain income level for the mileage reimbursement. DH just always got the reimbursement.
-
Sending you a PM. Here are a couple of other links that may help. http://www.atlanta.va.gov/ http://www.vba.va.gov/VBA/ I think you have to travel a certain distance to get mileage reimbursement.
-
If you have to go to the VA hospital you do reimbursed. My DH gets mileage every time. With the clinics now you don't have to go all the way to the VA like you used to. I would also use the valet parking, because it's still a you know what to get a parking space.

Awesome Vet Rep. He will tell/help you with whatever you need. There are clinics in Rome, and Austell. DH uses the one in Rome. It is worth calling him. 12 year old is boring too. He just wants a couple of PS-3 games and a DSi (I think that's what it's called. DH will have the biggest box this year. -
http://www.wildlifeh...yotesfoxes.html If your pet is a small animal resembling it's natural food it may attack. However they do not view your pets as food. Everything I have read about coyotes and pretty much any wild animal is that they are more afraid of you then you are of them. Although I'm starting to wonder about that. Seems like the simple answer is to make sure there is no reason for them to come around.
-
Well at least you know it will run off (granted not far enough) when you make enough noise to scare it. Check with your neighbors to see who might be feeding the stray cats. Even if your not, someone might be, hence said animal hanging out.

Here is some information on Rabies. Now you don't have to fear what you don't know. http://pelotes.jea.com/rabies.htm What animals almost never have rabies? Rabbits, hamsters, squirrels, chipmunks, guinea pigs, gerbils, opossums, rats, and mice are hardly ever affected with rabies (Birds, fish, bugs, amphibians, & reptiles don’t get rabies either.) . You may still need a tetanus shot or other medical care if these animals bite you.
-
Just a little more helpful information. http://opossum.craton.net/faqs.htm This is one is just a really cool page. http://www.opossum.org/ Do opossums carry rabies? Unlike most wild animals, opossums are highly resistant to rabies. It is extremely rare to encounter a rabid opossum, though if bitten or scratched by one, it is nevertheless advisable to see a physician immediately. Any opossum that would behave in such an uncharacteristic fashion must be assumed to be rabid.
-
Just thought I would help out here. Q: I just saw a coyote/fox during the day – doesn't that mean he is rabid? A: It is actually not unusual to see a coyote or fox out during the day. Coyotes and foxes will venture out during daylight hours in search of food. Both animals are opportunistic feeders, meaning they will hunt for food as the opportunity presents itself – regardless of day or night. Additionally, both coyotes and foxes eat squirrels, and squirrels are only active during the day! So, if you see a fox or coyote outside during the day, he is most likely in pursuit of

Or, you can use it for target practice.

Yep, wild animals are awesome in their own habitat. Too bad we keep encroaching on it, so that now they are deemed to be pest.

One of my BFF posted this on my FB. My thoughts on Veteran's Day: 11-11-11 My hubby is a veteran and he will not get any free meals from Longhorn's, watch any parades, or even get a day off. He's at a training that would prepare him for deployment/combat (again). Special "props" to the guys (and gals) who are doing what made them veterans in the first place- serving our country despite their own wants, comforts, and conveniences- these are folks who give up what is important to them to make sure you can keep what is important to YOU! And... yeah, it's kind of big deal. I

When we first moved here 72 was cold, like pull out the parka cold. Now it's not so bad. 68-70 is purrrrrfect. I hate when it gets stupid cold, 30 and below, and it doesn't snow. At least it could do that.

See, that second one had more room to grow.
-
I'll have to DVR it. Sometimes it can be a trigger for DH. After all he lived it.
-
Thank you. Oh, and THANK YOU for your service!!
-
Shoot missed it. I'm sure it will be on again. DS, is doing his "current affair" on Veterans day this week. He is in 6th grade, and he has to do one every week for social studies.
-
DH was in Vietnam, DOS was in Iraq. We have friends that are active, and all over the place. Some in harms way, some not so much. But, all there for us.
-
I agree we should always remember our Veterans. Thank you to the men and women who keep us safe. Thank you to their families.

Oh, well cool. It's great to be proud momma!!!!
