On 278 a few days ago, we watched a car toss out 2 styrofoam plates of chicken wings. Right in front of us, in the middle of the road with cars on all sides of them. What the heck!?!? I also have to pick up other people's trash out of my yard. It irritates the hell out of me. We also have a neighbor 2 houses down that does not have trash pick up service. They pile garbage in the back of a pickup truck for weeks until it is overflowing before they go to the dump. So when we get gusty winds, guess where their garbage from the back of the truck blows? Yep MY YARD.

My daughter has a friend that lives in Vista Lake. The houses are pretty, but they are packed in there like sardines! Way too overcrowded for my taste.

It sounds like you are very particular about who you let watch your child, and that is how we all should be! There are too many questionable places out there, and incidents like this story are just simply not a risk any parent should be willing to take. Yes I was not qualified to watch that room full of kids. Those kids acted like normal kids and went beserk when left alone with me. Exactly! I worked at a daycare when I was just out of high school. No experience or anything but I am good with kids. So this place put me in a room of like 20 kids my first day, alone! With no help! They didn't even introduce me to the kids they just stuck me in there. It was horrible. It took some time to get those kids under control. I didn't go back the next day. One day was enough that place was very unprofessional and it is one of the nicer daycares in dallas. I wasn't drug tested either.

I feel so blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids. I stayed at a daycare when I was a child and I absolutely hated it!! I used to cry when my mom dropped me off in the mornings. My friend's daughter was in this accident. She is the only person that was in the vehicle that I know. She is 15 years old. She was thrown from the vehicle and is in critical condition. Her name is Melissa. I wont mention last name for privacy reasons. They say it is not looking good for the driver. As far as I know, nobody died in the accident but it was very bad and my friend of course is extremely shaken because of her daughter.
