Okay, words and grammar, etc. are kinda my thing! But, I think you're wrong on this one. Exaggerate is what one does to embellish a story. Spice it up, if you will. "I went through the drive-thru, and it took 20 minutes!" (when it only took 10) OR "I ran 3 miles today - I'm exhausted (when you really only ran 2 miles). Overexaggeration is when you go further to make something completely unbelievable (to the point that EVERYONE knows you're lying.) "I waited 3 hours in the drive-thru" OR "I'm so tired. I ran 400 miles today." Well, that's the way it works in MY world!

I get mine at Kroger. It's on the laundry aisle, toward the end on the top shelf.

Iron Out & White Brite are both good products for getting out the mud stains. The odor is HORRIBLE, and I only use it as a last resort. Another baseball mom gave me her secret. It's a bar soap called Fels-Naptha. It is amazing! (It's also very cheap at about a buck a bar.) Using hot water, I wet the pants and then rub the soap directly on the stain. Within a few minutes, the mud rinses right out. Then I launder regularly. The soap actually has a lot of uses. Check it out! Fels-Naptha

The last nixle update said they were 10 minutes out of Paulding. (That was about 15 minutes ago.)

Mine came up Sandra Bullock & Courteney Cox-Arquette. But I'm not buying either one of those!

They just advised that the eastbound lane of Buchanan Hwy has been cleared by county DOT. Yorkville area is reporting slippery conditions.

Main roads are just wet and fine to drive on. Secondary roads are getting slushy, and I noticed the change happening pretty quickly. Hopefully, it won't be too bad before people make it home this afternoon.

Beginning to hear traffic about accidents due to the weather. Be careful out there!

A neighbor contacted deputies with a sighting. They have a new trail and are in rapid pursuit!

Paulding County Scanner

Foot pursuit of burglary suspects.

Deputies have secured the suspects' vehicle. They are establishing a perimeter.

There are apparently 3 suspects. One is down with a dog bite. Rescue is on the way. Two are still being pursued. They're so dumb! Not only can they be traced in the snow, but all the parents and kiddos are going to be home soon!

I guess today is a great day for a break-in! Complainant called to say two men were trying to kick in the door of her neighbor's house. Deputies arrived and are now chasing the suspects through the woods. Indian Trail subdivision at Hwy 92 South.

Seriously, pray. I don't like what I'm hearing!

I've been listening to the scanner, but have to mute it every so often because I'm at work. There is a stand-off (I didn't even know where it was.) It sounds VERY serious from what the deputies are saying. I'm surprised they haven't cleared the channel for emergency only traffic.

I went to an over the hill party once. The guys expected a stripper. Instead, his wife ordered a mourner. She was hilarious. She wailed constantly, and interacted with everybody saying really funny things. She was mourning the passing of his youth. I've also heard of people hiring 70 year old strippers. I have NO idea where you'd find one!
