They ask the kids to surrender them, to which my dd did. Not all of the kids do. She called me from a friends phone & was afraid to get caught on it.

My girls will be happy to hear this. They've remarked how we haven't seen her in a while. They've been witness to her loving ways and her tirades. They've learned compassion and temperance for the mentally ill from meeting Miss Jessie. Glad to know she's still around the area!

Today was the graduation writing test. I wonder if they'd do a drill during that with as particular as they are about missing any of it for any reason. One things for sure, they have not informed the kids to what is going on and they're becoming concerned the longer they're outside. It's been 25min now.

It's Paulding County High. My daughter just called me. It happened in the middle of the writing test. My biggest issue is my daughter said she had to hide when she called me bc they were taking up cell phones if you were caught using it. My daughter should be allowed to call me with her concerns about being evacuated and NOT being told why. She said they've been outside for 25min now.

I heard of her passing earlier today. So sorry for the family. My dad used to work with Mr. Barnett and Mary did our taxes for years. Great people! Prayers for all.

My mom just called me to make sure I was alright. While cleaning her pool she heard numerous sirens on Scoggins....enough to unnerve her. She can't et in touch with my sister is starting to panic. Does anyone know whats going on?

Exactly. She was closing up the house for the night and it caught her eye. It was such a strange occurrence she couldn't walk away from it. We've never seen the other lights but will def be keeping an eye to the sky now!

We went to the laser show last night. When we are gone my mom watches our house, we share acreage. She said she saw red triangular shapes in the sky last night around 10 or 10:30. There was 8-10 of them, traveling in a straight line as if they were following one another. They came at a diagonal from the Scoggins/Somersby subdivision direction up over the trees heading towards McDcd's. She said there was no noise like a helicopter or airplane, no noise at all associated with the lights. One of them left the formation as it became closer to the McD's/61 area. She said they resembled those Chines

I'm on the Scoggins side and our power fickered a few times around 11ish. I thought maybe they were working onlines. I guess they were and this is why. Hope all fare well.

He's on his way home (or at least trying to get home) from work. He said traffic is backed way up almost to Hiram on 278. As best he can see there maybe something going on at Cadillac. He asked me to get on here and find out so he'd know whether to detour and how far. Anybody know so I can tell him?

You can use rice or soy milk. I substitute white bean puree sometimes for cream...especially in homemade alfredo sauce. LOTS less fat!

The Board didn't ruin this kids chances of walking at graduation, participating in Sr functions, being class president, Valedictorian or any other senior "privileges". The kid did that with the first spray of paint. Finally, an institution is more about the consequence of an action rather than the students self esteem. My kids know, if that had been them, not only would they NOT have fought the board but they would've served time at home with MOM & DAD as their wardens.

I make the easiest and best strawberry cake ever, its always a requested item in the summer....so light! Butter cake mix layers (made using dream whip method) Frozen sliced strawberries in juice Cool whip Cook layers, cool, poke lots of holes with a fork. Spread juice and strawberries over layers. Frost with cool whip. Let set in refrigerator over night (DO NOT OMIT THIS STEP!) That's it!

DD is in the chorus and musical. They are performing a preview of the musical. She was told to be there around 7. I was told to watch between the 8 and 9 o'clock hour. It's gonna be a mad house I'm sure! It's a cool honor th tough.

We went one better. DH, myself and my mom cooked and served dinner for my oldest daughters sr prom. I sent out formal invitations with a menu choice to return to me. They got to choose steak or chicken with baked potatoes and salad. They got to choose a dessert of cheesecake or chocolate fudge cake. We rented chairs, tables, table cloths, and flatware. I had the dishes. I bought water goblets from Dollar Tree. We arranged the tables around the pool. There was floating floral candles in the pool. I decorated the table with favors they could take home. We dressed in black and white and treated

Are you in the south Paulding area? There have been 2 actual break ins and 1 attempt that I know of within a matter of 7 acres. The attempted one was my mother.
