I wish PeeCom had crying or shocked or mad icons. I can't "Like" this. It's terribly sad and shocking. In the late 70's & all thru the 80's my employer sent me to meetings held at the old Bismark Hotel on Randolph Street in downtown Chicago. These meetings were always in the winter. With one of my favorite things to do being walking in the cold, I would walk for an hour or 2 every night. Wouldn't do that today in Chicago.

You bring up an interesting challenge for a social experiment. Let's stop people in Chicago from having guns of any type. Then let's see if the murder rate goes down in Chicago. 1 isolated control sample should be easier to follow than a nationwide experiment. I think what we need is a change of heart not a change of laws. The solution seems so simple to me. Put the 10 Commandments back in public places. Put prayer back in schools and public gatherings. Honor our Flag, Pledge of Allegiance and National Antium. We used to hear the term "We Are A Melting Pot". I took that as honoring we were many different people joined together to honor a special nation. Not to encourage you to post more Bad Cop news reports but I think you are only looking at Comments and not Views. Last week you posted a topic about GA Cops Groping 900 Students. I did not open it but I instead posted a test to see what type story gets more attention. I posted a warm & fuzzy topic about local Cops providing Christmas shopping for needy kids. Both our topics got 2 Comments. Your topic got 119 views and mine got 88 views. So Groping Cops get more attention than Cops caring for kids. Pretty sad society we live in if you ask me.

I can only speak for myself. When you post the case study's or news reports about bad police, I just move on to another topic. I just don't need to defend the good cops I know because they defend themselves with their actions.

On the subject of President Trump's respect for veterans. All anyone needs to do is watch a few minutes of any Trump Rally. He loves our military and our veterans and all those military members and veterans in the crowd love him. I've got a close family member just starting his career with the Marines. All Marines he comes in contact with love and respect President Trump. He's met several who say they would have left the Marines if Hillary would have won. Now that President Trump is in office, they are re-upping.

I did not realize we were campaigning against her. It's funny to us she keeps explaining the reason she lost. I've heard her bring up every excuse except she was a terrible candidate. Even President Trump said it would be great (for his campaign) if she runs again. Now it's looking like her and Bill loved the Russian's money. Of course none of that will be decided on PeeCom.

And to think, Today is Hillary's Birthday. I'm laughing my head off thinking that's not going to be a very festive birthday party.
