Just recently we've had 2 more recent deaths that sound like murder based on social media reports. 1) the County Sheriff's Department used social media to alert the public to be on the lookout for a suspect. That person was spotted, brought in for questioning, charged and booked for 4 felonies including Murder the next day. 1) the Dallas Police investigated. There had been very little mentioned. You might want to go back and watch President Trump's rally in Arizona last night. President Trump was real clear about his opinions of anyone who thinks they can abuse our citizens. Anyone who says he supports hate groups is listening to Fake news and is not listening to the President's actual words. Just 1 of President Trump's remarks "We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!".

Our quiet little Mayberry isn't so quiet anymore. I think it was this past weekend, an athlete and graduate of Paulding High died and his death is under investigation by Dallas PD. This morning there had been a death of a lady in a home on Hiram Sudie and a young man is wanted for questioning in that death by Paulding Sheriff Investigators. They can take down, blow up and dispose every statue, memorial or mention of past problems and it won't help fix the hate in some people's hearts today. I think the world is going crazy right in front of us. I've been reading about how the Irish & Germans came here to escape the potato famine. Some historians say the Northerner businessmen took advantage of the Irish & German immigrants, paying them substandard wages basically taking advantage of the large number of hungry immigrants that were flowing into the Northern cities. I thought I had come up with a solution. Remove every statue, road sign, bridge sign or any other kind of memorial to anyone & everyone. Replace them only with statues, signs & memorials honoring soldiers who have fallen in battle protecting the USA. BUT then I realized in just a few years people would be fighting over these. Segregation was wrong. I remember the segregated water fountains in JC Penney in downtown Greenville. One of the memories I still remember is when the SC schools were integrated about 1970. Very quickly is was evident to all the black kids came from a school system that was far behind the white system. I suggest you might want to be studying on who you wish to support in the next Presidential race and join with other like minded people to support that candidate early on. I've listened to President Trump on TV and I read his comments on this terrible action on Facebook. Sounds to me he strongly condemns all hatred. I expect if he called for $1 million rebates to be issued to every citizen, the same ones complaining now would be complaining $1 million just isn't enough. It's time to stop the name calling and hatred on all sides and start caring for each other.

If we want to point fingers at groups for causing taxes to be high we need to remember to point a few at the voters. Of all the Bond Referendums & Special Option Sales Tax votes, the only 3 I can remember ever being turned down in the last 30 years were the Civic Center, the Airport construction Bonds and BOE "It's About The Children" vote which the last one was overturned a little later. Correct me if needed, my memory isn't so sharp anymore. And I certainly can't remember all that passed.
