    I agree with a comment further down the page, I knew people who were ridiculed to death and some people just can't handle it....some just snap...that does

    seem to be a common thread with these people.

     

    I don't understand the psychological need to bully people or the psychological reason for putting up with it before going off and

    killing a bunch of people....I think it's insecure people from both angles...someone needs to feel superior by putting someone else down

    and someone else not feeling the need to stop it as soon as it starts....I've never heard of such senselesness.

    I met a woman online who had a pic of her high school prom from 15 years ago.....she had about doubled in size in that

    time...from what i've learned from talking to women....men have old pics and women have pics when they were thinner...

     

    ...that's the breakdown in a nutshell.

     

    I think men are not really as concerned about their pics as women...I dont' think there's anything deceitful about it.

    i'm not trying to silence anyone....I was the only boy growing up with 3 sisters....you CANNOT silence people.

     

    (that's why I know useless things like black makes you look thinner and horizontal stripes make you look fat and

    OK. I'll ask.

     

    If the soldier is not a Xian, is it not worth being supported?

     

    Are you saying that questioning the war effort, the reasons we are still there, etc., is unpatriotic? If so, isn't that the antithesis of the chain email?

     

    If someone thinks we should pull out of Iraq, are they no longer a patriot?

     

    Is it possible to support the troops but want the US policy to remove troops from Iraq?

    The redistribution of wealth socialists and power hungry poverty pimps, race pimps and victim pimps selling the American people

    on higher taxes produce nothing of value in America...the number 1 job of Govt is national defense and to secure our borders and

    that's one of the few things our Govt does even remotely well....only because of the greatness of the American people who volunteer

    as soldiers and not elected politicians (pieces of human debris) milking people for every extra penny they can get through taxes.

     

    SOLDIERS...the Govt. did do something right....not really but give them credit for not ruining a good thing

     

     

     

    You stay up for 16 hours

     

    He stays up for days on end.

     

     

    You take a warm shower to help you wake up.

     

    He goes days or weeks witho ut running water.

     

     

    You complain of a 'headache', and call in sick.

     

    He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward.

     

     

    You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends.

     

    He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.

     

    You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket.

     

    He clutches the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags.

     

     

    You talk trash about your 'buddies' that aren't with you.

     

    He knows he may not see some of his buddies again.

     

     

    You walk down the bea ch, staring at all the pretty girls.

     

    He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists.

     

     

    < B>You complain about how hot it is.

     

    He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow.

     

     

    You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong.

     

    He doesn't get to eat today.

     

     

    Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes.

     

    He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are clean.

     

     

    You go to the mall and get your hair redone.

     

    He doesn't have time to brush his teeth today.

     

     

    You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over.

     

    He's told he will be held over an extra 2 months.

     

     

    You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight.

     

    He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from home.

     

     

    You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday.

     

    He holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume.

     

     

    You roll your eyes as a baby cries.

     

    He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet.

     

     

    You criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything.

     

    He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting.

     

     

    You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him.

     

    He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded.

     

     

    You see only what the media wants you to see.

     

    He sees the broken bodies lying around him.

     

     

    You are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't.

     

    He does exactly what he is told even if it puts his life in danger.

     

     

    You stay at home and watch TV.

     

    He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat.

     

     

    You crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get comfortable.

     

    He tries to sleep but gets woken by mortars and helicopters all night long.

     

     

    If you support your troops, send this to 7 people.

     

    If you don't support your troops well, then don't send this out. You won't die in 7 days, your love life won't be affected, and you won't have the worst day ever. You don't have to email this.     Ive been fortunate to have met a lot of nice people on pcom and I havent been on the receiving end of the comments (yet) but yesterday I saw some words fly on a topic that Ijust didnt think were necessary and I could see the person on the receiving end being hurt. Im all for the humor and the sarcasm but Im just over the topics that are set up in the purpose to hurt someone. There is nothing to gain from that for anyone. Im all for ppl eating doritos in the nude and making jokes....its the rest that I can do without. I hate to see anyone hurt. There is a time and place for everything.

    I'm with you....if I hurt anyone...I'm sorry...but i"m fatter and uglier (and broker) than you anyway, so don't worry about it.

    First I want to start by saying one of the most beautiful things about our country is that we are free to believe what we want and like who we want. With that being said I was raised with the understanding that I dont have to like everyone but there is never any reason to be mean to someone. That is something I continue to live by and I raise my children with the same theory. There are a lot of people that I just dont care for but I dont find it necessary to talk badly about them, why is it so many of you do? I think what surprises me the most is that some of the most giving people on here are also some of the harshest. If you are truely generous, caring and giving people then arent you just being hyprocritical by treating some people the way you do? If you dont like people on here then just go where they are not. Im so hurt to see all of the mean things that are going on right now, it really saddens me. How can you be so giving and kind in one topic but then so hurtful in another? I just dont understand it. If it makes one feel good to give how does it make one feel to be cruel? I think in the long run you just end up with so much anger that you are hurting yourself and not the person you are lashing out at.

    They're just words on a screen, people need to lighten up...how can you get mad at someone who's sitting in front of their computer eating doritos, and typing on a computer....and live your life with the attitude if people don't think well of me then they just don't think well......

     

    ...many here should visit this site...and make it all worthwhile......lol.
