Thank you Pubby and Low, I was getting on to update when I saw you both had done it. I am physically unable to get up there to support her and it is (as Melissa would say hurting my heart) I am up and down with Lyme again and it seems to flare at the worse time. I know Low has been up there with her a lot and it means the world to her just to have a shoulder to lean on and a sounding board for her for fears and troubles. I can pray and I have all day.

I am not saying this is the case with this young man. Many people lose their beloved children at this age due to schizophrenia and they are often found in homeless shelters or on the street for no apparent reason. I had an interesting conversation with a friend in another state a while back. She is involved in family court. It is no different as far here when it come to the amount of people using and the effects on family life. She said that many of those doing drugs admitted to illnesses and pain that they used the drugs for because they did not have access to medical care. With health care reform many would have access to healthcare, but too late as they were addicted and many has already lost their children to the courts. People become addicted to drugs for 2 reasons, physical or mental pain.

The funny thing is we are not giving money to those that can't afford medical care under single payer. No money goes through the hands of the poor. Single payer pays health care providers and those that manufacture medical goods. It pays hospitals and clinics to make sure they have the best most update facilities. I talked to Melissa last night. This is a very serious infection, they are not ruling out staph. They have got to go in and suck out the blood and other fluids from the lungs because it is so full of infection the antibiotics can't get rid of it. The prayers are needed. Than and Melissa are starting to get a little afraid at this point. They have also had some care issues that make it where Melissa and he are afraid for her to leave.
