We watch people bring their little ones down to the fountain on the square to splash, at least 1/2 a dozen a day. Most of the time it is the favorite bird bath for 100's of birds. We watch these toddlers splash in it, put their hands in their mouths. This fountain is not chlorinated, birds carry diseases such as hystoplasmosis that can make children very sick. The small amount of water this fountain circulates plus the lack of chlorine raises the risk of the children catching diseases or even picking up a parasite. We sit and shake our heads watching it every day.

I am thrilled about this new service in our county, it has been needed for a very long time. The new van is equipped for wheel chairs, stretchers, and passengers. We have many people in the county that need transport to doctors appointments, pharmacies, and other day to day business. It is difficult for some families to manage wheel chairs in and out of small vehicles, or even a hardship for some to take off of work to help others. Yes it is, we have been meeting for breakfast at Vito's every Wednesday, we needed a restaurant in the area that served breakfast. They will be opening just for our group every Wednesday morning, we didn't leave much room for them to serve the public so it works out for everyone. Billy really pulled it together for us at the last minute, he is great.

They must have had an off night. We get great service there, I have large parties on the back deck every other weekend there. We get excellent service, the wait staff has to go up and down 3 flights of stairs to put in our order and to bring it to the table, they have to go up 2 flights to get our drinks. We never wait long and everything is always just as we ordered it, nobody in the group has ever complained about the service. Like I said I think it was an off night and every restaurant has them.
