  1. You just made my night
  2. Bush was well aware of were it was headed, I also saw video were he was praising it. His administration was warned multiple times, they started the investigation way to late, he was on board right up until the investigations started. He lied about weapons of mass destruction. Your tax money for that myth is sitting in offshore accounts owned by Halliburton. We are going to give them a few billion more for a pipeline to be built. All that construction might stimulate the economy if they bothered to put it in American banks, don't hold your breath.
  3. I doubt I will change my mind about Romney. You know Bush could have given some executive orders, but his cronies were raking in the money until the train pulled into the station. I wish someone would ask Romney how he feels about to big to fail, there really is no need, we know the answer. He will raise taxes before he will let them fail. Romney's money has protected him from the real consequences of any bad decisions he ever made just like Bush's did. At least Obama is honest about what he is and his vision of the world. Romney is blatantly elitist like Bush and we want to revisit that
  4. I remember the decisions he made, he made! he was a disaster! He was not a republican he was an elitist, and if the republicans won't admit to that they will take us down that road again. Nobody could have stopped that train, it is a lie for people to even think it. If you won't criticize him, it means you approved of everything he did and will approve of all of being done that way again. Which is what we are seeing, we are accepting a piece of.... out of desperation. Had we been critical Romney would have never had a chance as nominee, he scares me to death. We lose either way come Nove
  5. I must be way tired that one went right over my head.
  6. Everything wrong with the world is from the left, talk about personal responsibility...... It was a republican that given 8 years in office brought the greatest nation in the world to it's knees. Let me guess who you voted for, not just once, but twice I will save the trouble of typing it, It wasn't his fault, it's all because democrats have not yet been exterminated from the planet. In case you didn't notice I don't play politically correct just because I live in the most extreme right county in the country.
  7. The tax rate was raised, very few people will pay more than they did last year in taxes and some will still pay less even at the higher rate because their property values fell even more. Go to the county website and look at the 4 year history of tax revenue in the county. I honestly don't see how folks can complain. As far as the movie studio, they have not stopped making movies in the recession one of the reasons they have not is that Georgia and some other states have given the industry some huge tax cuts and incentives to make movies. We are having new businesses coming to the stat
  8. Are you talking about the businesses he built with his own money using local labor, and employing local people. That studio cost us a little over a million and potentially pumps that back into the local economy every month they shoot. Ask the guy on 278 with the Millions of dollars in equipment he rents to the studio how he feels about it. Ask his employees how they feel about it. Just how many businesses have you built? how many people do you employee? How much outside money are you bringing into the local economy? Nobody is going to disagree with you about Tommy not being Mr. Personalit
  9. Some are finally catching on to the reality. Rest of the story EDITORIAL: John Barge is a hero STATE VOTERS are being asked on Nov. 6 to make one of the most vomit-inducing choices of their lives … and we don’t mean the presidential contest. The proposed constitutional amendment to give the state power to create charter schools anywhere it wishes, using tax money that it once gave to support your children and grandchildren in local public schools, is one of the most nightmarish proposals ever floated. Frankly, this newspaper having been a supporter of the really, truly chart
  10. Ask Rodney at Rodneys barbq, he gets a much better deal than what I see people discussing.
  11. Dang! are you breeding again?
  12. I think parents are instinctive when it comes to things like that. If my gut said do it I would too. But as I said I would definitely hesitate before doing it. I would have to be compelled by a feeling or something. I respect my children's privacy, I did not go through their drawers and such. They also did not get privacy in my home when entertaining the opposite sex.
  13. After fighting me for over a month to even give me the proper test mine called scared to death because Of how sick I had been. The first thing he ask was did I have chest pain or irregular heart beat and begged me to go to the emergency room if I did. I think he was thanking God that he did not make the worse mistake possible that many doctors do and that was to give me steroids. The Lyme bacteria love steroids, like little body builders on it. I will defend him in that he is a Kaiser Dr. and he took a lot of grief just for giving me the test and treating me beyond protocol. The kaiser in
  14. I don't think I would. I would be happy if the child was using a diary or journal to sort through issues. If I read it and they knew it, they would stop doing it out of fear of it being discovered. There are so many other clues that a child is having problems, if you watch you can pick up on them. Having been a teen and having raised 3, there are some things parents never know, and it is a blessing from God, you would lose your mind with worry. Parents that watch carefully will pick up on kids that are doing life altering things. Of course their are parents that only see what they want
  15. They don't mandate Georgia doctors to report it. People have been contracting here for a bout 15 years as far as I can tell. A facebook page of only people in Paulding with it, is enough proof to force them to do something. I know many people don't know the history of Lyme. It was identified by a large group of mothers in Lyme Conn. that wanted answers as to why all their children had arthritis and ongoing flu symptoms that came back again and again. These mothers fought hard to have these children diagnosed and treated. After that 1000's reported to their doctors with the symptoms and
  16. I am discussing the possibility of starting a facebook for people in Paulding diagnosed with Lyme. I fought a hard battle for treatment. I was told repeatedly that I could not have it because there was no Lyme disease in Paulding. To this day I still get angry about how much I suffered and lost because a man of science believes that animals and insects recognize a geographical line and will not cross it. I am sick of the phone calls and emails of people that are blind or have heart damage because their doctor was ignorant, it is a waste a stupid senseless waste. I still want to hear peop

You would think with depressed wages the cost of products would go down, that has not been shown to be true. The company increases their profit margin then screams bloody murder to the feds if it drops a 1/2 of a percentage point. Companies now feel as entitled to their profit margins as welfare momma's to their monthly check. The free market is non-existent in the US due to lobbyist that our congressmen will never reign in.
  18. They are treating thousands of them for MS, many are on disability. Some have irreparable damage even after it is found such as blindness. If I had been diagnosed with MS I would insist on a Lyme test.

I don't like a global market and I don't care about other countries, especially those to chicken sheeze to fight like we did years ago to over throw dictatorships, there not our responsibility. Our money is supporting these dictators and starving us.

The only reason people can't afford things is 10 years of suppressed wages here. It is a viscous circle with one root cause, American money leaving this country and never returning.
  21. Don't get me started on this, I have had to work very hard to resist using this site to start a crusade. I was very vocal about the same things that you stated 3 years ago after I recovered only after fighting for proper treatment. If the phone calls I get every month asking for advice are any indication, we are on the verge of an epidemic in this area. Thousands of people are going to be irreparably damaged for life because of disease that can be cured in a few weeks if caught early and treated with one of the cheapest antibiotics available. We will be spending millions on disability, beca

A company in itself is not an opportunity zone. Opportunity zones have to meet certain criteria. I believe you can find maps of them on the Economic Development website. For the most part the criteria is having in place infrastructure that will support industrial growth, yet it is being underutilized as far as it's potential to provide jobs and bring money into the local economy. You can not deny a company already in the zone the opportunities as long a they meet the criteria. The company that you are referring to is only one of the companies in the zone and there is still a lot of land in t

I believe we should recreate the corporate tax structure were a company can achieve a zero tax rate through employment, wages, and benefits. The issue is large corporations are trying to get out of that by showing profit over seas were they are getting tax breaks based on employment. Not only that, they exploit the labor there. Our government at one time worked for us, they protected us from corporate abuse in the work place. Now they take large payments to look the other way. We have got to have discussions in terms of what is wrong and what is right and stop with the class warfare and bl
  24. It's wrong because the money does not return to our economy. If you think for a single minute that I will put the profits of a corporation before the welfare of the American people you are dead wrong. America first and always. If you don't want to be part of what makes this country great, get out and stay out. That is exactly how I feel about corporations that invest their profits in other countries instead of ours. You can take it once, do what you want with it, but you can't come back for seconds. I can tell you that their are Millions of companies in this country that would be grateful f
