  1. He did away with her. That one is so ingrained in me I have never even harmed ones web. I am sure I will forget about it in few days. It is the first time I have seen one spin a web inside also. I have always seen them outside. The bathroom ceiling was a bad place especially if she built one of those huge webs and grew to 3 inches long. I had thought to get a mason jar and put her outside, no way would I harm her.
  2. That's right the country folks have gone to bed cause they get up with the chickens!!
  3. I know they will understand. A writing spider moved into my bathroom early Sunday morning. She sat curled up politely on the door all day as I cleaned. They tend to do that a day or 2 before they spin. With my permission she began to spin this morning. My son saw her and was hysterical because of her size. I told him if he could not deal with it to use the other bathroom, the spider stayed. My husband meets me at the door, a dear childhood friend of his passed today. When I go to the bathroom this evening the first thing I look for of course is the obvious the large spider with the lar
  4. That's ok my opinions are based on my personal experiences, everyone's differ. I tend to be tolerant up to a point. I don't think there will be an opportunity for me to sleep with a pony tail, when my baldy looks like a pin up calendar behind closed doors
  5. I am not a fan of ponytails on men at any age. I am a huge fan of masculinity. An excess of vanity to me is a feminine trait. I like my men neat, trim and squeaky clean. Anything the least bit feminine is a turn off to me. A real man can wear pink because you notice how good it looks with his skin, you never see it as a feminine color on him. Face shaven, little or no artificial scent, body hair in all the right places, trimmed if excessive in the wrong places. Self confidence is a must. I like my men lean, excess fat comes across as feminine to me. I have no issue with baldness, I see i
  6. I keep a full plate almost everyday. People that work full time tend to count their life by the number of weekends until an event. We use the weekends to get a lot accomplished. For most women special days and holidays fall on us to make it special and wonderful, I love doing this for my family. When they start with the Christmas this early it is like having a watch alarm go off 10 times a day to remind you of a appointment 90 days in the future. I find myself intentionally ignoring it and when I can't I admit to very grinch like thoughts. It is hard to believe that there was a time
  7. I was just talking to a friend, we are both chilled and uncomfortable this morning. I get chilled in restaurants and grocery stores, I keep a sweater in the car year round. My hubby likes it very cool, so I never put away my pajamas, fuzzy slippers and robe for the summer. At 50 I am waiting for my thermostat to up to permanently warm like others describe, so far it's not happening!!! So how does it feel to you???
  8. Chicken Alfredo made from scratch over linguini, fried egg plant, fried green tomatoes and homemade apple pie.
  9. Now Feelip you are much more intelligent than that, in fact I would never think to call you stupid. The internet message board is a totally different and relatively new business model. Most successful businesses try to follow the standard of the customer is always right, that is difficult on a message board because one customers rights end where another begins. We all know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Pubby loves politics and relishes every opportunity to discuss and debate them, as do many that come here daily or discussion. There is not a single person that enjoys that topic of disc
  10. Click this link for the rest of the story and watch the trailer “42″ is set during Robinson’s 1947 rookie season with the Brooklyn Dodgers, during which he broke Major League Baseball’s color line. The movie filmed in Macon, Birmingham and Chattanooga with some scenes shot in Atlanta, too. The Biltmore hotel in Midtown was used to portray the 1940s era Waldorf Astoria. While the project was here over the summer, Atlanta Braves great Hank Aaron visited the set of “42.” The homerun king visited during interior filming at Atlanta Film Studios Paulding County. Here’s the trailer
  11. I think this is a very interesting topic. By the players in here it is easy to assume that the reference is mostly political. I had a close relative that practiced intolerance as a way of life. This person would not tolerate many things, they had made a lot of life rules and would not tolerate those around them breaking them. I can't begin to tell you the strife and anger it caused, this person stayed angry and frustrated all the time. I am also seeing that intolerance can be a learned behavior, and it can be a very good tool for manipulating people. In a group situation we can see h
  12. I am going to be on Jalepeno Joes patio around 5:30 see ya there!
  13. Your head is spinning, then you understand how I feel about many of the contradictory things I hear. People are making to much, they are living too good. We are spoiled, the poor live too well in this country. Union workers make too much. It is all the American people's fault for expecting too much, now the poor American companies have to go over seas to make a profit. If we would just accept less of everything our companies would stay right here. We Americans are a spoiled lot that want a good privileged life that nobody deserves but the few very rich. Then you talk to people about their
  14. I am somewhat the same way, I have not lost my joy and passion for living, I have just done many things and seen a lot of things over and over. I can still get excited about doing new and different things which is great!!!!
  15. Anybody want to meat around 5-5:30 for dinner before Wade's concert tonight??? Jalepeno Joes and Olive tree are very close.
  16. I can't wait for this tomorrow, I know you are so proud of him! I am proud of him. When he told me what he was trying to do I was so impressed. He explained to me how he had put a show together and was playing small audiences to earn the money for his tuition I was blown away. I convinced him to do it on a larger scale to try and earn more tuition money. The important word is earn, he is not asking for hand outs from his community, but the opportunity to use his talent, to earn money for his tuition. I wish I could have done more to help him with this. I will be there tomorrow night as w
  17. I am interested in how Romney felt about what he saw. I personally know so many people that desperately want a job. Their unemployment has run out. What kind of opportunity did Romney see when he saw that factory? Do most people in this country that are employed make to much money? Do working people live better than they should? Should we all make a little less money and live at a lower standard so there are more jobs to go around. We know union workers make too much money, who exactly deserves what they get paid and who doesn't? Should full time workers be able to make ends meet? or sh
  18. Wow, that was sudden, I am glad you are feeling better

  22. I had a note from someone saying they can not view the video, is anyone else having trouble viewing it?
  23. I want to thank Maria Necessary of Necessary Designs for not only producing this great commercial for the event but a tremendous amount work. She is extremely talented and does graphic and design work for national companies. She has done so much work, updating facebook, taking pictures of raffle and bingo prizes. Taking vender apps, and you name it. She has been the glue that held this large event together through the planning stages. I have always said the definition of volunteer is un-volunteer when it gets tough putting an event together. She has risen to the occasion!! I want to
