  1. A young man sits in a hotel room in HongKong contemplating the rest of his life in an American prison for revealing the truth about the government spying on us. What's so bad about it? look how quickly we identified the Boston bombers. Do you wonder how that was done? could it be the cell phones in their pockets? thousands of cameras everywhere. Not just cell phones but everything in your pocket can be read and identified by readers placed anywhere. The young man understands the technology and just how dangerous it is. We would all like to see criminals quickly found and put away. What a
  2. This is just one of many stories on google under NSA data center Utah. Did we honestly think that they would collect all that data on us and never find a way to use it? http://rt.com/news/utah-data-center-spy-789/ US government agencies are growing less patient with their own country with every month. First, paying with cash, shielding your laptop screen and a whole list of other commonplace habits was proclaimed to be suspicious – and if you see something you are prompted to say something. Then, reports emerged that drones are being fetched for police forces. Now, the state of Uta
  3. The headlines are full of the security breach about surveillance of all Americans. Do you remember the article I ran across and published on here a few years ago. The one that told of the government creating a data base in Utah as big as an acre to hold all the surveillance gathered from not just our phones and computers but those all over the world. I would like to read it again. I read another article at one time talking about how the data was still too much to make it feasible even with the computer. At that time they were collecting data legally but could not legally use any of it,
  4. You will be rewarded for the prep. It is so hard to get plants to put on a good root as we are going into the dry season. City water needs to be used sparingly as it can kill the good bacteria in your soil. After you get the grass killed Courthouse tool rental has some really good tillers. Another positive is getting soil conditioners at a great price as we go towards fall. Check every place that carries them like walmart and home depot for clearance prices. Also many wonderful bulbs will go on clearance, such as dahlia's( you will love them very splashy) lots of lillies, peonies, glads will
  5. It is late in the season to start a producing garden, but the perfect time to start on an excellent garden next year. Most experienced gardeners work to seasons ahead. We all look forward to our produce this month whether it be blooms, vegetables or fruit. If this time last year we did not do serious weed control we will reap the consequences of a single weed producing thousands of seedlings that rob our garden of water, nutrients and eventually sunlight, decreasing our yield. I would start with killing everything that is not a wanted shrub and kill it. You can go 2 ways. You can use a chemi
  6. You need to discuss this with your son. It is more fatal for men than women. It has been swept under the rug. They planned to use our sons in the study to show how effective the vaccine was for girls. Our sons were going to go unvaccinated. I am not thrilled about the vaccine, but I talked extensively to my son about this silent killer of men.
  7. You might have your friend print the article that this link has in it. The published study is something a doctor will respect. I have printed one to take to my doctor. I was lucky that he followed the official protocol which was to treat based on symptoms because the test so far are not very reliable. All the Lymies are hoping that more money will be spent to develop better testing procedures and stop the suffering from going long term without treatment. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/301571-lyme-awareness-month-ends-today/page__view__findpost__p__3804725
  8. I will let yall know as I learn more details about this. I am pretty sure we have quite a few supporting this. I could take the time to gather a list of names of the people that took campaign contributions from people that did not want to see Wellstar succeed. Hopefully I will be well enough by fall, I do have some pics of folks attending the sponsored event, I will have to check their records at the secretary of states office. Fortunately many did not win even with the campaign contributions.
  9. I am pretty sure there will be a credit exchange or people will not support this with their hard earned money. The alternative is social medicine. This is a compromise I can support. It is not perfect, but nothing is. I am not the only one to see this as a very good compromise. I want Georgians to support it be involved in the process, the world is watching Georgia. Lets not write it in stone, we have a new hospital here, lets talk to them, give them feedback and make it better than anything else. After all Wellstar had faith in us and is building their second hospital here. I know many have
  10. our pool pump ended up at the back of the garage. That allowed us to place the solar heating system on the garage roof. It is much cheaper than heating it with gas. The nights here are so cool that the water takes a long time to get comfortable.
  11. The premise is same. Kaiser can not compete without hospitals. They do have them in other areas but not here. It is so important to support this, when they show how well this works, medicare and medicaid patients will be able to assign their healthcare to them. This will force prices even lower. The people of Georgia have the power in their hands to change healthcare reform to this instead of what we see in other countries. There has got to be competition and healthy profit for all providers in the medical system. This creates consumer competition rather than political competition, meaning
  12. Through many of the discussions on healthcare reform, I had said many times that this was where we were going. It is the best possible solution. I have been watching Wellstar add new doctors to their system every week. I have also watched them improving their facilities as they readied for this move. I will definitely be signing with them as soon as it is offered to the general public. More than that they may have a fight on their hands. I will be supporting them in that fight should the feds fight them on this. I shared this on my facebook and felt compelled to share it here. My close f
  13. I am not sure what the actual number of undiagnosed people in the U.S are. People that have had it for many years can cost an insurance company as much if not more than a cancer patient. Most end up on disability then the taxpayer you and I have to deal with the cost. Many are crippled and in wheel chairs. It has got to be caught early, the money has not been invested in the research for early detection through blood test. Conn. New york, NJ, Virg. are now dumping millions in to research and and prevention because the cost of disability and late stage treatment was astronomical. Georgia needs
  14. This is important to me, the suffering that I am seeing from people undiagnosed is breaking my heart.
  15. Actually save it, date it and put it in the freezer, it is no guarantee against misdiagnosis but it may be all you have in the face of negative test and an insurance company fighting you on treatment. My health system conveniently lost my blood test orders and recognized the error 2 weeks into antibiotic treatment. I am livid. It is guarenteed I will test negative after 2 weeks of doxy. Guess what? they could win a case against me if my treatment went into the 1000's of dollars for intravenous treatment for a year. Yeah it happens to thousands of people.
  16. If he symptomatic pursue it. Doctors don't study this, they are given bits of information from health departments and pharmaceutical companies. If you think he is showing symptoms let me know I can find you an educated LLMD.
  17. DR, that is a myth, any tick can carry Lyme, all it has to do is bite an infected animal and breed. There are many myth's about Lyme and people are being disabled and their lives ruined by stupid myths perpetuated by ignorant people. This is Lyme disease awareness month. Many of us are doing all we can to get the message out, the truth about Lyme. Any and all ticks can carry it. 50% of people that have Lyme disease never saw a tick or had a rash. Lyme is a highly evolved bacteria, the markers used to identify Lyme in northeastern states don't work on the slightly different southern ticks, man
  18. Thank you all for your kind words. P.com is more than a little addictive and I love as much as I always have. I have been reading off and on. I am afraid for me that posting frequently would be like an alcoholic going to a bar nightly. I have been so involved in our community for so many years I had to step way back and redirect my focus to get through this. It has not been easy to deal with being irrelevant as it pertains to the community I love so much. I finally adjusted to my new meds, the consequence of that has been that it is also a little less effective for pain control. We ha
  19. Thank you all for your sweet post and pm's, I don't know what to say. What can you say when pain has robbed you of your intellect. We all say we would never accept that. I felt the same way until my world became so small. All the things that make you relevant, cooking dinner for your family in a clean home. Pretty flowers in the yard. Most important helping those in the community that can't help themselves. The sick and disabled. More than that small businesses, people that have dreams and believe they can work hard and be successful. P.com has given them the hand up. I believed a
  20. I don't quite know where to start so I am jumping in with both feet. This is difficult, I have been putting this off knowing that typing it would be difficult because of the tears. I know myself too well they started when I hit new post. My first words are for Pat who is like my brother. We hit it off from day one. We both have children with challenges. Nothing will bring you down to earth more than a special needs child. The reality is you can't do this alone. He understood how a child can dictate your life to the point that everything takes a backseat. You have to face the fact that nobody
  21. I agree, I don't know at what point I personally changed. I was up beat, positive and had a great sense of humor. It was slow and by small degrees, I didn't even see it happening. I am going to take a long break. I have never been a negative person, but I am now. I enjoyed sharing and getting to know people in the community. I am aggravated and frustrated 99% of the time and it is definitely showing. In real life I gravitate towards positive groups of people. Most of the people I call friends are positive and up beat. There is no way you can read 100's of post like I do on here daily
  22. I was loading stuff in my car, I left the door open for a second trip to bring things out. My phone rang while I was in the office. I had tossed the tablet in the top of my carry all bag. I brought the rest of my my files and junk into the Suburban. It was not until the first of the next week I missed it. I know it was my own fault it was stolen. It really upsets me, I was already attached to it. I really made it easy for someone to walk by the open door and lift it.
  23. I loved my android tablet. I had a data plan and could serf the net anytime anywhere. I miss it terribly it was stolen about 3 weeks ago. I am looking for a used one since that was 350.00 down the drain. I only had it a month. I wish now I had insured it.
