  1. I posted a little treat for the ladies in Paulding place. Click the the link, the password it ON enjoy the laugh. http://paulding.com/...ost__p__3765102
  2. Knottsberry farm was really cool. I lived a couple of blocks from there. It has been 38 years LOL!
  3. We have our dependance on foreign oil down, that is not near the issue at this point. The issue is how we are getting our own oil. The money was invested in research and development of fracking. Your not hearing a lot about it because investors would prefer it not be discussed. Germany will more than likely ban it over the next year. We have not done a single thing to reduce our dependance on fossil fuel and there is no intention of doing so. Renewable energy will not happen in America until we are in a crisis. I could say more about the sham that is being perpetrated on the American peo
  4. I don't think so, polarization has defined renewable energy as left wing propaganda just as I was just called a tree hugger. Big oil, gas companies and defense manufacturers have backed Republican candidates to the point that right wing candidates can not support renewable energy even if they want to. Bush guaranteed that failure by backing ethanol which continues to create anger against renewable energy. It is beyond me why people choose to forget that the program was based on fuel for food and miserably failed. Although Japan is seriously trying to develop an algae farm. Much better than
  5. Where in Connecticut? I lived there for 3 years.
  6. Perception and reality are 2 different things. I simply read more international news generally skipping over all the middle east hell in a hand basket headline stories. Our headlines are specific to violent events when it comes to news. I have to look further, those headlines give us a completely different perception of the world and ourselves in comparison to it. It is not a matter of accepting propaganda, nobody is going to spoon feed you articles from other countries unless it is Reuters they are in my main news categories google allows you to request. Google and yahoo deliver what sear
  7. There is no American market for it. It is evil, expensive and it will never work. You can't give it away here. You can develope it all day long, you can't get anyone to manufacture it, because Americans won't buy it and by the time you export it nobody will be able to afford it. This is the deal if every American home had a solar plant, and charged their cars daily, it would leave tremendous amounts of money to for the consumer and service market. The bottom line, oil, gas electric companies would look like the list you pasted. Not only that you would have to add defense contractors, 1000's o
  8. I would ask for gas money, I would save it and when I was thoroughly sick of the situation I would give it to them to fix their car. If they don't use it to fix the car then you will feel no obligation to continue to help.
  9. Germany is doing what America would have done a mere 50 years ago which would be to invest huge amount resources into research and development of renewable energy. We would not have hesitated. It is bad enough that we allow lobbyist to run our government but even worse that we believe their talking heads that they plant in our media to push propaganda on us that we believe. Because of that the boat has sailed, we will come begging on our knees money in hand to be saved from the oil companies. Germany will lead the European market in development of alternative energy, they will also be man
  10. The poll was pretty right on, the remarks sounded just like the folks on p.com discussing politics.

    RIP Sandy

You don't mourn alone, so many of us know the pain of losing our furbaby. A member of your family is gone and it hurts like hell.
  12. That is a pretty common view held by many. Especially some in business. Having a choice of multiple studios and locations actually make it more worth while for producers from California and New york to make the trip to Ga. Having everything they need already here is further enticement. We have a smaller studio but we may also have a much less expensive facility depending on their needs. I feel more positive about our studio becoming more successful by this news. We will probably see more potential investors coming to Georgia in relationship to the industry.
  13. He is big and scary, his wife on the other hand is a sweet, cute little Cupie doll of a lady.
  14. This may be good for the Paulding movies studio in the way that large anchor stores bring business to a mall and small stores benefit. How often have we heard the question how will a movie studio bring jobs to Paulding. The answer was the money spent on movies helped the existing economy. This project could change all that. The opportunity to learn the trade is a huge step in bringing the film industry to Georgia to stay. 20. My understanding is that anything that lowers the value of your home. You may have to fight for it. I suggest an experienced mitigation company. I am not sure if Pcs charlie regularly takes this type on or more the ordinary mitigation that is easily covered. I know that Crestmark has a mitigation department and most roofing companies have personnel that deal with the insurance company . You may only have to replace 2 and it is less than your deductible, go ahead and do it as we are heading into storm season and you could have more damage and your deductible will be covered. simply have the w
  21. Maybe we are over due for a get together. Many of us have made some of the best friends of our lives taking the plunge and meeting somewhere.
  22. Oh I also want to meet Crown app. I need her to keep on me so that I schedule the Lyme education series with the head of our health department. You would think I would remember since my eyesight continues to deteriorate even now. I guess I am at the point I just shrug off a lot of it. I am still preaching , just met a lady diagnosed with MS and I have done everything I can to get her to have a western blot. When I meet people that have issues that could be Lyme I obsess for them that they would just get the test to make absolutely sure that they are not living with something curable.
  23. They are both teddy bears for all their political bluster,
  24. If she only really knew her. As in bless her heart means duck and cover
  25. As in who would you like to meet that you have not. I don't list people I have met because I would forget someone and they would feel left out. On th other hand the ones I have not met are a short list. The top of my list is Ceiling fan, I loved her name and she jumped right in wearing her big girl panties.
