Americans are sick of trying to control those animals. I am pretty neutral on the president. I don't judge his actions through through Democrat or Republican glasses. I am very disappointed with him on this and the Republican leadership that is supporting him. I am hoping that any momentum as far as agreement by congress pushes this toward a diplomatic solution. Basically I hope it is a bluff to get him to give up the weapons. If he refuses it is further proof to the world he will use them and probably will. We have him backed in a corner with Russia's willingness to support that solut

Then the Republicans must have the same goal because many were supporting him in this.

A new headline. It looks as though we are headed towards a diplomatic resolution. Russia calls on Syria to give up control of its chemical weapons.

Do people really work at Fast Food places to fully support their families?

I am glad you think it is the government instead of the lobbyist for large corporations that are the problem. A corporation is not a person. It is a thing that eats people and cheezes money. They will only eat as much as regulations allow them to. The government did not go to them and ask if they can deregulate to make them more profitable. Their lobbyist sought and got it by corrupting our elected officials, with billions of dollars that could have gone to the individual workers that made them the profits. They are aware of what they are asking for. This whole thing about corporations -
I guess we can only pray that he turns them over. You are right in that they probably won't, they are war mongers to the core and it is all they think about. They need to take a nice long hard look at how the Arabs live. The Muslims are free to practice their religion in a country that enjoys all they spend their oil money on. The extremist are hands off of them because they are much like American's in our capitalistic society that focuses on a high quality of life rather than fighting for our religious beliefs to be the law of the nation. The Arabs would not hesitate to destroy them, it

The economy must have people a very high percentage of people that can patronize these industries, the percentage is shrinking because of the wages so far below the cost of living. It will hurt this industry the worse before the middle class feels the impact, when we do it will be because we are so close to the edge. All the hard work in the world will not help us when that happens. -
Another headline. Now we see where this is going. I can support this. Kerry to Assad: Turn over chemical weapons to prevent strikes.

You are right, but it should not be to the extent that taxpayers are providing the basics for workers. It really allows more government into the private sector. -
I am keeping up with the developments on Syria. A headline caught my attention so I clicked on it and began reading. Here is the link by the way This is how I first read this paragraph, of course I went they wouldn't print that and reread it. But Stephanie Cutter, another CNN contributor who was Obama's 2012 deputy campaign manager, said Congress's not passing the resolution would be "a blow to the United States. Not a blow to the president, it's a blow to the United States' authority over all the world. And unprecedented." This is what it actually read.. But Stephanie Cut

Fatality Saturday night at Cedarcrest Rd and Graves Road

Setting up radar on N hwy 61 made a huge difference in the number of wrecks and fatalities. They are going to need to get back up here soon. Over the last few months I have been having to slow down to keep from being killed in a head on from speeders passing without enough clearance. -

So how do you suppose folks keep up the rise in the cost of living? They can't move into tents. There is very little free market affordable housing. Almost all of it is section 8 because they get more rent. As a guy that was having a stroke over the presidents policies told me, thank goodness for section 8 I have made a lot off of that rental house. Oh yeah so far right he was spitting and then in the next breath. Every body is afraid of losing grown. If you are not rich then you are in the same boat as the working poor whether you like it or not. It is eroding and we are all going over -
I knew it was on when I read we got support from the Arabs. They are use to a very cushy and for the most part peaceful existence on the oil money. I am not surprised that they are extremely alarmed by any extremist using chemical weapons no matter what side they are on. What does Russia get out of it? A vacuum that give them more control. The more of them that die the less resistance. Syria is just too stupid to see it.

I was wondering when someone would bring that up. I am very skiddish about the turn lanes up there, The road is curvy and the lights are far enough apart that people reaching speeds well over 50 miles apart between them. -

Many companies don't have a union and they still operate about the same as some who don't. I have also seen companies that unions have ruined. People that belong to unions always have better wages and benefits. Another way to look at it, is that their workers never end up on assistance from the taxpayer. I hate anything that gets run through the government. Retirement, medical, food, shelter, it always ends up bad. Bad unions suck up a lot of money that should rightfully go to the employee or be reinvested by the company. On the other hand companies pay their top 1% ridiculous amounts w -

I am not sure why people are not alarmed at the way our quality of life is shrinking. It is almost like we should feel guilty for having it so good. The recession only effected middle class to working poor in a significant way. It is like we blame ourselves for expecting good pay that keeps up with the cost of living. We spend our money in the mw industry because we don't have enough to spend elsewhere. We fear losing ground should their wages go up. We have already lost that ground. That is why they proliferating. We are being squeezed together. The middle class for the most part pur -

I am not sure how relevant those type of cost are if we talk about them in terms of the overall economy. Companies are producing those products and people are being paid. We do know that jobs are becoming more and more automated. Computer programs allow a single person to do what an office full of staff would have handled years ago. This is true for almost all industries. Food industries do seem to still have a lot of hands on. Most of the processing of foods is going over seas to cut cost. The job market is shrinking and it will never boom again like it once did when it comes back -

I was simply pointing out that working for wages below or just at the cost of living don't prevent the increases in prices. I suppose it is best to sacrifice our quality of life than to risk the cost of things going up. Bad bad people out there expecting to get cost of living wages and don't care what it cost everyone else. Make a person just want to lay down and cry -

I thought the older lady was telling her to sit down. I was pleasantly surprised to see the music start. Kids pick up more than you think. Mtv was very popular when I was a young mother. I would put it on to clean house. One night hubby and I were on the porch listening to some music. When a certain song came on my 4 year old jumped on the table and did a stripper dance with her clothes on of course. We sat slack jawed for about the first 5 minutes of her performance. We were horrified when we got over the shock, she had some moves.!!!!

They have one of those pesky little things on their computers that pop up and remind them it's time to make the donuts. They really do set up their system to do that. Hard to believe they would go that far? nope they do it all the time. -
So maybe we can regress, start chopping some heads off so there are less people to eat cake. Those pesky stupid people are breathing our oxygen and eating too much again

Some folks are going to drop from exhaustion squeezing their eyes so hard to keep them shut. Open them and get some rest.

People get denied help for less than a dollar over the requirement. You can have 5 kids sitting at home starving because your husband had a heart attack last month and he was working a 70,000 a year job. Your behind is sitting in a 150.000 house with 2 cars notes you were easily paying on his salary. There are no excuses for anything in the real world, people got to suck it up, pack the kids and groceries in a SUV and get out of Dodge. I have seen them move out in the middle of the night a week before Christmas. The tree still sitting in the window by July. The bank didn't foreclose because
