I would ask Pat of Pat's Apparel for a list of names. Congratulations!!!!

When I refer to someone as a Yankee I am teasing in a nice way. My husband is a Yankee and so are many of my dearest friends. Region really has nothing to do with being polite or rude. Some mistake blunt for rude. While it is more common north of the Mason/Dixon it is not rude. Blaming someone's attitude on where they were born is just as unacceptable as blaming someone's skin color. You have no more control over where you were born than the color you are born. Rude is rude.

It got me because I watch so little tv I thought it was the first time it aired. I doubted it for the same reason I do big foot and aliens crashing. There are plenty of fossils and bones found all the time. We would see bones if it were a species. I was expecting news stories calling it fake and found nothing because it had aired way back and I did not know it. The washed up animals really upset me.

One thing is clear, we have to regulate lending in this country. Interest only loans are crazy, It makes me angry that I have played it safe when it came to borrowing, yet I have to pay for those that are taking stupid risk. The law tries to protect me to the best of it's ability when I drive my car on the roads. I don't see any difference in protecting me from stupid lending practices. I don't believe they should be able to write credit contracts that penalize people with higher interest rates either. What is wrong with stabilizing lending as much as possible. We saw how much it cost

This makes me so mad! More creative financing backed by our taxes! When is it going to end? I have worked hard and made some sacrifices to pay for my home and avoided debt. What gives them the right to do this? I am sick of it A federal housing agency said Friday it needs a $1.7 billion bailout from the Treasury to cover projected losses in a mortgage programs for seniors. At issue are reverse mortgage programs, which allow seniors to borrow against their homes for everyday living expenses. Federal Housing Administration Commissioner Carole Galante told Congress in a letter tha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET LADY

Another thing that upset me were the environmental issues. I am extremely concerned about the ocean environment. The oil spills and now Japan is dumping tons of radioactive water into the ocean. Evolution shows that the planet changes and adapts, but animals do not always survive. Our cancer rates are through the roof. I think also being a life long gardener makes me a little more aware. I have very few pollinators in my garden, less every year. I can count the numbers of honey bees. I also know that adaptation takes thousands of years. When I put a plant in the sun that needs shade it die

I am so glad you ask this question! Pubby and I had lunch yesterday to discuss this very thing. Believe it or not many public officials miss the coverage and the transparency that comes with it. They accept that there will be criticism of their decisions. What they can't deal with are rumors, dozens of them all a little different than the last. So that brings us to mine and Pubby's limits. Pubby has an autistic son that has to be watched at all times. It is nearly impossible to get help because he is an adult and low functioning. I have been open about my back pain limiting, me and I

I found it, they have never done a straight release about it anywhere I can find. Supposedly they have a statement that rolls in the credits that it is science fiction. Why not bill it as Sci-Fi. I guess that many others are as disgusted as I am about the History channel and Discovery doing reality shows and many would not have watched it.
-
I saw those but I could not find anything were Discovery admitted it was a hoax that is why I was wondering about the whole thing.

Maybe they could concentrate on protecting people with the money they already collect. Like removing Dabbs bridge rd. as a designated bike path and I am sure it is not the only one. It is insanely dangerous to driver and cyclist. You never get over hitting a person with your automobile. Nobody should have to choose between their children in the backseat and a person on a bike. The rd. does not have enough sight distance in many places.

You think I got sucked in?

If you go back in history so many studies have been proven wrong. I have no interest in the government owning hospitals. We need to look hard at the alternative the gives systems every penny of healthcare dollars and let them be healers and care givers.

All the videos and pictures are very consistent. What do you think?

Click the full screen mode on this one, It will blow your mind.

Link to videos This was my favorite. I watched the show last night and found the hand illustrated in all the videos and the Barnum photo very compelling. The one I put up I find the speed amazing.

The expectancy is for the 30-40% of Americans that live on the system to increase. Who knows you could be there next year. It is a percentage game at this point. If you don't make enough to file taxes you don't pay anything. This is why you have single payer. The cost of healthcare goes down and it cost tax paying citizens less. People are not getting Cadillac insurance for $75. a month. When the policies come out you will see how little they are getting for the low dollar plans. It basically saves the taxpayer from paying a 2,000 ER bill for a sinus infection. Should it really cost 150,00

Popular "Fact-Checker" Misleads Public on Obamacare

I am glad that the Christians aren't lying about their bias. It's a very small world when you pick and choose only information that you are comfortable with. Many of the current facts make me uncomfortable and even angry but at least I base my decisions and opinions on facts. You certainly have the freedom to choose and they have the freedom to publish. My opinion is my own, it is just too narrow in it's views for me to feel it is relevant. Just because you don't like something does not make it untrue. There are a lot of websites that are commercially viable because they make people like th -
One of the most important things is we all see this as an evolutionary process. We have a unique opportunity to vote with our dollars. It is once in a lifetime. We voted with our dollars when we quit paying for the product. It impacted the medical system to the point it was going broke. I don't see single payer as in the government owning hospitals and practices as a good thing. What I do see is the concept of non-profit systems competing where we write monthly checks to a system and the government is forced to write a check monthly to the system of your choice when you are on medicare or me

I think this paragraph pretty much supports what I am saying. What Health Insurers Get From Obamacare In return for its support in the healthcare reform battle, President Obama offered the insurance industry the graceful exit strategy it so desperately needed. Under Obamacare, for at least a few years the insurers hope to get One Last Windfall – namely, profits from the influx of previously-uninsured Americans whose premiums will be paid, or at least subsidized, by taxpayers. Here, the insurers are relying on the likelihood that the inflow of new premiums will, for a year or two at

I found this article very interesting. I am very aware that a global economy plays a huge part in many of our domestic economic issues. I think this article is well written and wanted to share it. This is a very small portion of this article Paul Solman: This past winter, economic historian James Livingston, author of "Against Thrift," denounced, on The Business Desk, "the nonsense of austerity," arguing that the last thing the U.S. economy needs is more saving -- more capital. Thursday, we feature Daniel Alpert, author of the new book, "The Age of Oversupply: Overcoming th

Why would you think I had not read that. It is a squeeze that will only get tighter. First they will squeeze doctors that want to get paid into using a national data base for claims. Which means all patient and practice info will have to go into the data base for the doctor to get paid. They are going to remove the old claim service completely. It will stop a lot of fraud and cheating of patients that don't understand their EOB's. An insurance claim can be like a puzzle, you check all the right boxes and medicaid pays. Doctors send their staff to workshops to learn the puzzle. Once t

I have never seen fact checker one sided. The single subject made it look more so. -
My understanding is that these are going to be mainstream insurance companies you are use to seeing. BC/BS Aetna ect. Most docs are probably in network with them already and will be forced to take the insurance or break the contract. We nor the doctors are going to know how well it works until it starts. The issue may be that you have an influx of patients before much money hits the banks. You have to understand insurance companies make higher profits the longer your money soaks. Doctors offices can't wait because they have payroll to make. As I have said it is designed to fail so that
