He gave all that advertising money to his housekeeper(was she even legal?) to buy him pain meds off the street. The point being that he portrays himself as an expert, constantly runs everyone down refuses to accept any criticism. He also hangs up on people that disagree with him. It all points to someone who is weak minded and undisciplined. If anything he has a lot in common with Hollywood entertainers. The tragedy is his followers that demand their representatives follow Rush to the letter if they want to keep their jobs. This man is so unworthy of the power he holds over this country.

This is the worst symptom of the me generation. I am not sure how aware we are of doing it. We devalue and dehumanize others. We live in fear of having less and are suspicious of everyone that they might diminish us or our personal wealth. We don't hold people morally accountable when they push the limits of decency and morality when they create opportunities or take advantage of things that aren't quite honest and decent. We all know the difference between right and wrong, yet we constantly justify the actions of people and ourselves when it comes to getting ahead. All of this is co

Actually it is being used. We have folks with private planes using it and also we have a flight school now. I think one of the things that hurt it the worse was the recession. Paulding was hit especially hard by the housing collapse. We now have our eggs in many baskets. We have recovered a lot of land that we ran sewer and utilities for industrial parks. The hospital and the movie studio show good diversity. I think things are going slower than folks want, but building a business takes time and economic development is just like building a business from the ground up. The doors to the ai

There is a different way of looking at what she is talking about. I am not comfortable with the attitude towards the problem that I see many of her followers adopting. They are angry and resentful, their attitude is usually throw them overboard and let them sink. We will never solve our problem that way, we will only create violence and death with that attitude. I have seen people give so much that they place themselves in jeopardy, I have seen some give to their church, or their children or even allow a spouse to place them deeply in debt. Of course our minds go to the millions that h

I know this is true. I also heard they they intend to keep it up until everyone that receives a check goes without. Heard about this way back in the summer. At his age, I hope he will share the price of his premium with us -
Paulding County Economic development will man the Paulding Aerospace Alliance booth at the Salute America Air show Saturday and Sunday. Jamie Gilbert will have information and job applications for Pauldings new industries. These are a few of the industries he has job information for, Ronchi America, Interoll, DEF, and our new aerospace companies. Be sure to stop by the booth to get the information and spread the word that the newest business members of our community are now hiring in our community.

I am not voting for anyone that is against economic development. In this day and time it doesn't just happen. Communities interested in creating jobs are out their selling their communities to bring the best jobs in. We need a balance here we won't just get it by hoping. Large industry looks for a lot of things before it builds if you don't have them and someone marketing the community to the world you won't get it. Economic development snowballs once it gets rolling we will see a large projects coming to fruition every few months. No way would I support underfunding it.

You provide irresistible incentives for them to register with the government. Then you jail employers that hire the unregistered or refuse to tax their wages. The hospital should have the ability to register them while there and not treat them until they are registered. One way or another we have got to tax these people to pay their share. Also getting a handle on the cost of healthcare and driving down the cost will diminish the drain.

All of the commissioners are aware of the mission of the IBA and Economic Development. There are multiple negotiations going on at almost all times in our industrial parks. The goal is job creation. It is a very competitive environment, many of these companies visit multiple locations in the metro area. I have no issue with the negotiations being kept quiet. I would hate to see the people of Paulding lose the opportunity for 1000's of well paying jobs due to political wrangling. This was played no different than any other project. Generally the commissioners are told it is a go about

This is my question do these numbers cover the money given to the hospitals every year to cover the shortfalls from treating indigent patients. My biggest issue with everything is lowering the cost period. Insurance is still where we are bleeding and the claim system. It is much like you working for someone and charging them a dollar for every ten feet you walk, every time you bend, carry or whatever. It is crazy trying to provide care will keeping a spread sheet. Basically get rid of the nonsense.

I have not heard that those people have issues with the airport. I think there are only 2 directions that planes can take off or land there so they may not be bothered overly much by the noise. I am use to the sound of small planes from the Cartersville airport. There have actually been fewer since the recession. Sometimes they scare me when they cut the engines I am afraid they will crash.
-
Nobody said you had to move. The airport is not going to fail or stay the same. Moving is an option. The airport shutting down is not.
-
I would like the county to do what is right by the people that are effected by this. Let the county buy them out and resale commercially. The airport could use a small bed and breakfast, car rental or even use the structures for storage. If they don't want to sell that is fine, but there is no way that the airport will not grow and move forward. I am not ok with people having their lives disrupted to the extent they will deal with for that airport to be viable. I want to see the right thing done at the point it is feasible. If we were looking at hundreds of homes it would not be fea

From the AJC via Paulding Economic Development Paulding airport plan includes airline flights Backers say door open for second commercial airport in metro Atlanta. Posted: 11:01 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 By Kelly Yamanouchi - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Paulding County, northwest of Atlanta, and a New York City venture capital firm say they are on the verge of cracking a monopoly in metro Atlanta by establishing rival airline service outside Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Good luck finding a place to live on that,or paying utilities, forget ever eating meat again. If you have a car you might leave it in the driveway because you can't afford to drive it. Landlords nor mortgage companies will take 1/2 what they are owed for long. Same with utility company. Your welcome to believe you could live on it without government assistance The fact that you can't pay your own way on it,is what makes it so humiliating to people.

What is hurting the middle class is being shoved face fist into becoming the working poor because our government allows themselves to be controlled by the one %. We don't even need a government anymore, why pay them? We have a ruling class and we are just a bunch of serfs. I have seen hard working people, middle class people with ethics be ground down. Why would anyone flip burgers for minimum wage? It is considered degrading. Only people with low IQ's would do that. There is nothing lower, janitors make more cleaning toilets. Not just no but HELL no. It's entry level into hell. I want to

Suicide is more common than ever. You have so many people that believe they have done the right thing and everything has gone wrong. They don't know what else to do. Our world is physically easier, but not mentally. We really have more time on our hands to connect and nurture and we spend it on other things. The answers are out there. So many are spiritually devoid and it makes them prey to extremism. It can be religious, political, over achievers, under achievers dooms day preppers the list goes on for the havens of those trying to meet their spiritual needs. People need to feel connected a

I reminds me of the minimum wage demonstration in Ct. about making 10 an hour. It also is one of the most expensive states in the country. I left there 20 years ago Mickey D's starting pay was over 9 an hour back then. Georgia will be more expensive than those that took the federal medicaid. You and I will pay the difference through taxes and higher premiums for that decision. Because it is higher we will have more that choose the penalty, so our rates will not go down but probably up. Insurance companies were throwing around a lot of campaign money a few years ago and it paid off. We ar

Your still giving poor people something they did not earn. Tell me again what your objection to healthcare reform is? You people need to get real. You want to stop letting poor people get something for nothing. You better start letting them die because that is the only way you can make them pull their own weight. Beyond that it does not matter, either you just keep handing it to them or make a law forcing them to pay something into healthcare like it or not. Every other way you put it, change it, make it up it still comes down to the same thing FORCE AND SOMETHING FOR NOTHING
-
Um how much different is that than Obama care? Any way you look at it you have to use the law to make people pull their own weight. I just can't believe that a conservative would come into this conversation and say anything about making another person do something. Just exactly what is the far rights objection? Did someone lose focus or what? Are you trying to argue with me? I have brought up both theses things and been called liberal blah blah blah.
