  1. I don't know, LR. This jury might not be as dumb as Baez seems to think they are. If there's not a mistrial, I think we'll have a murder1 conviction. Assuming there's no more surprise liars witnesses waiting in the wings. I would bet money on it.
  2. I think she is having to back up the lies she told in her deposition, back when she was trying to cover for Casey. She's the one who searched "chloroform" but not the one who searched "how to make chloroform" on the same day? Ok-cough,cough-we believe you, Cin. If only law enforcement had taken Roy Crunk seriously back in August '08 then that bitch would already be on death row and we could all relax.
  3. They have criticized Dr. G's work to the point that she's going to have to come back and take the stand again. That won't be good for the defense! I remember someone asked during her previous testimony if she opened the skull or not, and she said "No, of course not!" or something to that effect. So I'm sure she has an excellent rebuttal to all this and we will probably hear it soon. Surely the jury is not falling for all this smoke and mirrors. But I wonder why the prosecution has not talked more about the crime scene and exactly what they think happened. As in, she came back to the house a
  4. I'm looking forward to seeing Casey squirm while Baez tries to prove this bizarre defense theory. I bet she cries some real tears (for herself) when the guilty verdict comes in. At last, justice for Caylee.
  5. It was not an accident. Check out the computer searches in the month or two leading up to the murder. They were the only searches ever deleted from the computer, which was at least three or four years old. Also, two cadaver dogs alerted on the playhouse in the back yard. She is not in any real distress seeing the condition of he child, watch her when the jury is out and they show the superimposed picture.
  6. I watch a good bit of the ID channel. They talk about how a lot of killers like to take photos or a momento of the crime scene so they can "re-live" the moment that they killed someone. When Casey was staring at that picture, the one with the skull and duct tape superimposed (while the jury was out, of course!) I thought that's exactly what she was doing, re-living the moment.
  7. She looked at it while the jury was out, really stared at it. Let's see if she does that in front of the jury or if she looks away like she can't bear it.
  8. I think fanfare is in two weeks (?) There will be LOTS to do then! If you like country music, you will love fanfare!
  9. My son will graduate tomorrow night at North. Oh, to be healthy, 17 and graduating! Is there any better feeling in the world? Congratulations to the Class Of 2011!
  10. I think older, more experienced riders are often a lot harsher toward young drivers who drive like fools than non-riders are because the more experienced guys/gals put a lot of thought and effort into safety and it is infuriating to see someone act at best like a dumbass and at worst suicidal. I mean, some of them are too dumb to even realize that their behavior is suicidal. So yea, I get why you would not have much sympathy.
  11. It seems like if the man had wanted his children to have it, he would have told them where it was. Left a note, put it in his will? Maybe he put it up there thinking that someday some young, struggling family would find it and it would make their lives and their childrens' lives a bit easier. Just a thought.
  12. It won't be the same without her. The writers better do a good job with this, or it will kill the show.
  13. Dang. Just in time for the school kids to get out and drive. Be safe, kiddos!
  14. LPPT, very well said! I don't understand the ugliness that this event brings out in some people. I mentioned earlier that it might be a good idea for the owner to move away from the proximity of neighborhoods, but upon further reflection, it could be hard to find land that would be conducive to mud bogging, and it seems the old lake bottom that they are currently using is perfect for it. So maybe they need to invest in some sound barriers, better wash-off stations, ect. I am sure the PCSO will deal with the drunk driving issues. Did someone here really suggest that there is some sort of co
  15. I saw that second one and thought about the song "Waiting on a woman." The kids look great in all of these pictures, thanks everyone for sharing.
  16. We got permission to dig up a couple of peonies (sp?) out of my mother in law's yard (she passed away in 2007) and we planted them at our back gate. They are doing well and are a beautiful reminder of her, she loved them! Best of luck with your fruits!
  17. Maybe it needs to be upgraded a lil bit, it's not working! lol.
  18. My family used to own a chain of "do-it-yourself" car washes and it costs big bucks to clean out all the sumps from these type events, not to mention loss of income from the down-time. I think it could be done right, on more suitable(away from neighborhoods) commercial property, a wash-off station before the vehicles leave the property, and maybe sound barriers. Under those circumstances, it could become a huge draw for the local economy, especially if there were bands, camping, ect. It could bring in a lot of outside money and industry that the county needs, and put people to work: organizer
  19. Dang, I finally agree with something you said! Must be time for my medication. Gnite.
  20. "Broke away" is kind of an understatement, don't you think? And it was a long, long time before we considered them friends. Sorry for the hijack. As a history buff I felt a need to respond to that.
  21. Run them off before you apply the chemicals. Or brace for frogpocalypse. My boxer ate one and then barfed it in the house. Gross.
