Goldmine is still bad. I am thankful that my kids will be safe and sound at home. I normally work, but I am off tomorrow and I get to spend the day with my kids and looking forward to it!!! Well I can tell you that I am mad about the whole thing as well! I know that fights have always happened in schools however today is alot different than when we older adults were in school. I have had my own personal dealing with SPHS just a couple weeks ago. My son was assaulted, that happened on a Friday the person that did it wasn't dealt with until Monday afternoon, with ISS. It happened in the class room right in front of the teacher, teacher wrote them up and it waited till Monday afternoon. It had to be investagated wt... the teacher saw it happened. Our Baseball assocation is 501c3 and we lost one of our 2 fields to the flood. Sara Babb. Which has really messed our fall ball season up. The older boys are having to travel to Burnt Hickory to play. Any help would be greatly apperecatied

Waffle House is using jug water cause we was told we couldn't use boiling water. zero use of tap water is what they told us. We are using nothing but to-go plates and cups.

I agree and no one should be taken advantage of! I work at Waffle House and the thing with us is they have an emergency fund that they are able to buy the cokes, ice and all the plastic ware that we are using. They also had shipped 500 gallons of water for this emergency. Our menu says free refills so whether it be cans or normal it is still $1.35. The thing is these other restaurants have to charge extra cause if they didn't could you image how much lose they would be faced with. It isn't cheap to supply gallon jugs of water, can drinks and bagged ice .for company's and the small mom and pop

We are not using water from the tap at all! We make our coffe and tea through the machine but we pour the jug of water into the machine. and it really makes better coffee and tea. So don't forget stop by your New Hope or East Paulding location Waffle House for some "Good Food Fast" today and all weekend to!

Not sure how the other 2 are handling everything but New Hope and East Paulding locations are in my district and that is how we are handling this. So please tell your teachers to come by and have some breakfast, lunch and supper!

Our company has shipped us 500 gallons of water that we are using, we can serve fresh tea and coffee cause we use the gallon jugs of water to make it with. We have cold sodas, Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke and Mr. Pibb with ICE too. We use safe water (gallon jugs) to make our famous chili and gravy. So when you wake up in the morning and trying to decide what you want to eat think Waffle House and stop by your New Hope

I read and understand what you are saying in your post. However who are we to believe? I work in the food business and Health Insp. came by around 2pm yesterday with a nicely type letter and very nice man telling us not to use the water, get other means of drinks and bottle water and such or close your doors!!!!! Also I might add he also said "they will be turning the water off starting tomorrow morning" to start repairs that it could be county wide shut off! So the folks at Huddle House was correct in as to what they were told. We will be open cause the company I work for has all the means to

Our baseball team is trying to raise money for some tournaments. We are having a car wash at the Waffle House on corner of East Paulding Dr. and Dallas-Acworth Hwy. Across from Publix.
