Are you serious? You would think it's okay for an adult at a daycare to bite a child? Is this really psychomom?

I recommend this book for you now as well. It is one that I didn't think I would like in the first section, but as i got into it, I understood more of why I needed to read it. It discusses free will and bad things happening to good people. -
breakfast for dinner, or "breakfast for supper" like my husband says. eggs, grits, sausage, and toast with apple butter.

Oldest children generally have a larger vocab. earlier than the subsequent children because the oldest child has only had adults with fully developed vocab. as examples. The younger children can be just as bright, but develop language slightly slower; they are often more focused on playing with the older child or watching the older child instead of watching and listening to the parents. It's just one of those family dynamic things. Don't feel guilty! It may very well have NOTHING to do with anything you've done or not done!

so you needed to post something professional today?

Yes, my three year old daughter shares a room with her half sister (whenever her half-sister is visiting every other weekend) and we took step-daughter home last night. This morning my 3 yo walked down the hall and said, I don't see her (the half-sister) in her bed. She was very sad that her sister wasn't there. I just reminded my daughter, with a smile, that we took her sister home yesterday and that she would be back when it's time for the next visit. Every time we take my step-daughter home, it is an adjustment and my daughter understands what is happening now. When my daughter was you

We have a Coleman campstove and percolator. People make fun of us, until the electricity goes out. We are prepared.

Does anyone know anything about emergency custody

Thank you for all the info. I knew pcommers would be able to guide us as to what to expect. We have until Monday to get everything straightened out in our home. I've got to do some cleaning! Nesting in three days is great since I'm not 9 months pregnant like before. The father is like a brother to my husband, so we just want to have a great ending to this stressful time. -

Yes, the mother is in the same home as the father. The father knows that we haven't gotten rid of anything from when our youngest was a baby, so we still have all the baby stuff. -

If it is a different county (2 counties away), would that change anything? -
An aquaintance of mine and a close friend of my husband's is experiencing a problem since his wife tested positive for drugs when she went to the hospital to deliver their baby. Now the husband is asking if we can take care of the baby so the baby doesn't have to go to the DFACS foster care system. DFACS asked him if he had anyone that could take the baby. What do you all know about this type of situation? Is this a legitimate sounding story where it would be likely that we get the baby? If so, would we have to do an interview with DFACS? home inspection before custody is c

predictor of current students based on past students' performance in college in the zip code in question, DUH! I'm done with the lack of knowledge in this thread, but I guess I knew that when I walked in here.

research shows that the most influential factor in the percentage of students successful in college is.... the student's zip code. Look it up for yourself. If a zip code has a high cost of living, high property values, then more local money is collected for the school district, and parent-wise, more of the parents create a culture of the college-educated because they are college-educated in order to afford the high property value-- for example, east Cobb. so it is both: school district and parents

High electricity bill? gas bill? rates are going up every year!

Gotta agree with GEAgirl. That type of statement is showing the difference between the counties: a typical Cobb county mom would be on Amazon buying the paperback in less time than it took I'mFloored to type the criticism above. Also, I agree with the statement of the unmotivated students crippling the classroom. It started with the legal requirements to keep kids in school or they lose their drivers' license. There is nothing in the mandate that says that a kid must make an effort in school to keep the driver's license. When I asked Kathy Cox about it, she just replied in agreement

Do you know if the JV game is still on for tomorrow?

Thank you for the info everyone.

If schools are closed, do they still have the athletic teams playing games? I just don't have a clue about these things.

If I had half that energy... my house would be clean right now.

Is she spraying hair spray in the car? My hair spray makes my hair look like it has fish scales in it if I spray too much.

All we get is Qubo. Good for the kids, but the adults have nothing. Online viewing and dvds are what we do now.

I got mine from 92 and Macland around 3:30 and they had tall stacks. Then I went to the HomeDepot and Michael's, Target, strip and they were in front of Home Depot then too.

I knew to check on PCom and find your post about Food Lion today CE. The look on your face in that store! I only had two kids with me. You were handling things pretty well when I saw you. Must have gone down the drain fast after that. -
Hilarious. I don't mind when my husband does this, if his aim is good.
