  1. I have it all bagged up waiting on you. GOOOOOO RAIDERS!!!!
  2. She just did - I had no knowledge of the business not following through, RG, but I definitely know what you purchased as well as remember when you went for the portrait sitting. I am so SORRY!!! I would by all means contact him about the portrait you purchased as it was to be a family portrait to have for a lifetime.
  3. I still have a good supply right now but they are going FAST!!!! I was really impressed with them - I've seen/handled the name-brand Pillow Pals and these actually are softer!
  4. CUDDLY PETS ARE HERE!!!! If you have yours on reserve please contact me to arrange pick up. TIA
  5. History has proven LE cannot take this type thing lightly.
  6. My vendor describes them as "Cuddly Pet Pillows". He told me they are identical to the ones advertised on TV for $19.99 + shipping except they do not have the trademark name of Pillow Pals. (I think that is what the ones on TV are called??) They will be delivered this afternoon via UPS.
  7. Perfect to cheer on the EAST PAULDING RAIDERS on Friday nights. Measure 18 x 15. $6.00 or 2/$10.00
  8. I think that was actually a different festival called something different. I want to say it had Hunt or Hunters in the title??? When we first moved here in 1996 we would go to it and Paulding Meadows the best I can remember. Maybe I am confused but I thought in those days there were two craft festivals. You did a GREAT job handling the entertainment and that is when we first met. If you have two tickets left please let me know.
  9. Just wanted to update everyone on arrival of the Cuddly Pets: They were shipped out of Missouri on Tuesday (The vendor missed the UPS cut-off on Friday or I should say my order missed it and with Monday a holiday) so they will be arriving on Thursday. I have everyone's pet reserved that has notified me. If at all possible I would GREATLY apprciate it if you have reserved one if you could make plans to pick it up on Friday or Saturday. I need to recoup my investment and hope you understand. Although I have a good order coming in - the vendor is selling them like CRAZY - I know they will not
  10. I know you've had your trips to Paulding ER and glad to hear you've had great experiences, too. Yes, with me having it that is part of Wade's fear - he has watched everything I've gone through!! But, at least we do know what we are dealing with and it is not fatal. As I keep telling him modern medicine is making advances everyday - they have come a LONG way with the disease since I was diagnosed at 17!! He goes to the nephrologist next Wednesday, the 15th. I am anxious for the date to get here. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE - the thoughts, prayers and kind words have been very encouraging. Ev
  11. OH WOW - that gave me chills!!! I am SOOOO glad the doctor was quick to diagnose the problem and her leg was saved. WOW - Just WOW!!
  12. GOOD FOR YOU!!!! You set an attainable goal for her to meet and when she didn't you gave her an attainable punishment. When our children were young I had to train DH how to displine. I know that sounds funny but he would threaten "you are going to be grounded for a MONTH" and the kids knew full well IF they were grounded through the week-end it would be the max. Eventually he would threaten with punishment that we all could live with - AND make happen!!!! It will be interesting to see if your DD is ready to leave tomorrow when you are - let us know.
  13. Pretty name - CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK! We have a friend whose name is Bryan Alexander and I thought it was so pretty.
  14. It is not beneficial to be diagnosed early because there isn't any treatment to slow down the degression of the kidneys. Or at least that is the way it has been in the past. I am anxious to know if there is any advances that can help him NOW. I have always known there was a 50/50 chance my children could inherit this disease. But, it was worth the 50% chance that they WOULD NOT for all the joy and Blessings they have been. Just like if MY parents had chosen not to have ME??? (I hope my sensitivity read the comment wrong.) Thank you for the good wishes and I use a nephrologist in Marie
  15. THANK YOU, I appreciate the prayers. Actually I (and my other 3 family members that have had transplants) received a cadaver kidney. Mine came from Texas - a young man was killed in a drunk driving accident on the Millenium New Years. But, you are right, when it is a living donor the surgery and recovery is more difficult for the donor than the recipient. I am sorry that happened to your son but I have heard similiar stories about UAB, Scottish Rite, Emory, etc, etc. Unfortunately, it isn't just the small hospitals where people are in those situations such as your sons.
  16. Thanks everyone for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. We had NO wait on Sunday but of course he did to in complaining with chest pains. I was reluctant to take him there with the chest pains but wanted to get him somewhere QUICK. We have gone to Paulding ER on numerous occasions for the same reason - quick attention. When they hear "transplant" when I've gone they immediately call for an ambulance to transport me to Kennestone (where my nephrologist is) as they don't want to do anything to damage the kidney. I have always felt they were doing what was in my best interest bc not all doctors
  17. I know there is often a lot of negative things said about our hospital but I wanted to pass some PRAISE their way. Sunday morning our son came into the bedroom holding his chest, crying, saying his chest was killing him. DH was about to walk out the door to go to work when I called him to come back. We took DS to Paulding Hospital ER - just to get him somewhere QUICK! When someone has chest pains I begin to panic and I figured if need be he could be transported somewhere else via ambulance. (Yeah, Mom was SCARED - unfortunately there is a lot of history of heart issues on both sides of my fam
  18. I have RAIDERS RALLY RAGS in stock!!!! Let me know if you need any. GOOOO EAST!
  19. GOOD MORNING!! I do not do mornings, but couldn't sleep. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL and BLESSED Tuesday!
  20. I watched it again last night - I DVR'd it so DH could watch it. I realize it was San Jose State but they looked good!!! REALLY??? I didn't expect that but it will go down between now and kick-off. But, I DO like it!!!!
  21. Prayers being said for Dakota. God is the Ultimate Physician and will hear our prayers!
  22. You might could find the info on the wsb.tv website as they just did a story on it. The gas station across the street is lowering their prices as well. Lines are LONG as to be expected! He's been lowering the price all afternoon and it is now at 30 cents.
