Guess what folks???? The sun DID come up this morning - just has it has twice earlier this season. I was raised attending Alabama football and watching greats like Snake Stabler and Joe Namath. I would not think so - have not heard that he was going into another business venture. I can honestly say that is the FIRST complaint I have ever heard about Steve. He has always been known to do great and reasonable work and to be an honest and good man.

I have no idea about tonight. I was going to put a chuck roast w/veggies in the crockpot this AM but didn't have a large can of cream of mushroom soup. So it will be whatever DH brings home - I'm thinking Zaxby's salad or Briarpatch. I won't be cooking anything for Thanksgiving until Thursday with the exception of the green beans that I will put on the stove tomorrow. They have to cook two days in bacon grease - good ole Southern style. We usually go out to eat for Thanksgiving bc it is just the four of us but our daughter's BFF had surgery last Thursday so we are cooking and taking ever

I couldn't vote bc I don't have permission. Although I think the chances are VERY remote I hope it is. As sad as it would be to have confirmation, Beth and the family deserve to have some type of closure. That poor woman lost everything: her daughter, her marriage, finances, etc and that psycho in the Peru jail is never going to tell her what happened.

I stay on FB a LOT too and chat with friends and family. It's been awesome to reconnect with friends from HS and College I lost contact with 30+ yrs ago! I have not done the "groups" but I do live chat with friends all the time. It is sometimes lonesome over here when 7 of the top 10 threads on a page I am the last one to comment. Just sayin.

Is this what we refer to as the Animal Shelter where furbabies are adopted?? (For some reason this always confuses me. SORRY) At one time the Shelter was accepting donations of newspapers to line the crates with.

I enjoyed the stories above and will share them with DD. Last year was the first time the Elf made an appearance at her house. I LOVED the DGD's telling me of finding him and how they had to find him in the mornings bc he reported to Santa during the night. What a wonderful idea someone came up with and how much joy it has brought to so many - young and old.
