Again, as someone mentioned above, i don't think it is the use or non use of the gurney that is the issue. They shuold still be able to hand carry someone out while using respect. That obviously did not happen. I would definitely file a complaint. There is no reason this should have happened and I'm very sorry you witnessed it. So very sad.

She has been playing outside non stop since it got warm so i'm really hoping that will help wear her little butt out! She has SO much energy. To be young again.

Yes, she still takes a 2-2 1/2hr nap every day...i didn't even think of shortening them. Will that be ok to do when we will have to be waking her up instead of her waking up on her own and being well rested?

We are going to fl fathers day weekend to visit my boyfriends nanny. She isn't doing so well and we want them to meet our daughter. I would like to take another vacation aside from this for 4 or 5 days. Money is very much limited. Does anyone have any suggestions on places , good priced hotels etc where we can have fun with a 2 year old and not have to break the bank? I would prefer the beach personally, but dbf grew up around florida so could care less if we go to the beach or not. Any suggestions?

I bet Dad was surprised! Lol Mine gave me the scare of my life the other day! When i had taken the dog out she climbed ON TOP of our desk. As i came back in she rushed to get down and fell hitting the base of her head on the edge of the chair!! It freaked me out! Then 2 days later she shoved a rock up each nostril . I know kids go through that nose phase, but a rock?! Whew! I can't imagine what's next! They sure do keep us smiling and laughing though, don't they ?! Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately that wouldn't work for her She's very rambunxious (sp) and if she wants to get there, she will climb over it , no matter what it is!

I actually thought about this. She IS still in a crib and i thought maybe that could be the reason and we did need to switch her. I just can't figure out how the 2 could relate. I keep telling myself if she's doing this in her crib and we put her in a big girl bed then she will just get up by herself and play or come in our room. So , this worked for you? Isn't it weird how kids work?! lol. I guess this is what we are going to have to try. Thanks!

That doesn't work. I've tried. Trust me, i believe in he "cry it out" method. But most of the time she isn't crying. And she will lay in there and call my name for hours on end.

My daughter just turned 2 and has always slept through the night. Even when she was a newborn she would wake up at 5 in the morning for a bottle and then go back to sleep until about 9. (I've never believed in waking them every 2 hours to feed them) She has ALWAYS slept through the night. Until now, all of a sudden she wakes up like clockwork at 2 in the morning. Sometimes she cries for me but most of the time she is just wide awake calling my name until i get her. So i take her in the living room and lay on the couch with her, she wants to watch icarly! I try to explain to her that it is time

Just want to keep this bumped every few days in case a date is announced so it can be shared with us.

I'm weak and turned it on last week when it got hot. We had turned the heat off and opened a few windows, but it was SO HOT when i got home that night, that even after turning the air on and relaxing for a couple hours i ended up vomiting from where i had gotten so hot. I think it's going to be a really hot summer with how fast the weather changed. It's like we just skipped right over spring this year!
