If people wish to have *legal* fireworks, and they light them using more caution and safety than even normal, I don't have a huge problem with them. They *can* be done safely... even in this drought. I know, because we have done them, and too what some would call extreme caution. It's the people who have illegal ones that actually shoot up and leave the ground, and the people who have no common sense nor personal responsibility that scare the heck out of me.

I thought the memorial was a beautiful reflection of a loving family --- and all the many personalities which make up that family --- and a true celebration of Rianna's life. The Grandmother shared a few words about her Christian faith, and how important that was in her life. It was heart felt. And she shared her joy in her belief that she will see Rianna again.
