Oh, yeah, share the pics if you find it! I just finished the fourth head -- now, on to four sets of hands! Then, I'll do all the paper mache all at one time. After they dry it will be painting time, eyeballs, sealing, putting hair on, making their bodies, and getting the dressed / displayed.

It looks like a fun ride!!! If we were any closer, we'd come up there to take the tour. I'd love to see the ghoulish children. Looking forward to seeing those photos!!! I just know that Jordan is going to really ROCK it!!!

Halloween is still awesome! Parents and kids just have to be a tad more careful. I think the crowds pose more of a problem, along with the traffic, in the Paulding area. Down here in S. GA. it's not quite as bad. I feel certain we'll have the largest Halloween display in this immediate area - heck, maybe the town. Use to, when I was a kid living here, there would be pretty elaborate displays.... like what you see up in the Paulding areas. It's still a blast... and we hope to give thrills, chills, and squeals that will both frighten and delight.

Of course you guys would move back after I've moved.

Love it!!! Man, if I had a kid who had a birthday around Halloween, I would be off the chain with decorations/etc! LOLOLOL What a cool time to have a bday. Sounds like she's going to have a seriously SPOOKTACULAR 8th bday.

Thanks EG. It's a labor of love on my part. Halloween is my most favorite holiday. I want to put on a haunt that kids will remember for years to come.... like I do several from my childhood. Have you decorated?

I'm feverishly working to put together our "thought of at the last minute" Halloween display. My family, and both my sisters, assorted nieces and my son/hubby are putting together a rather ambitious display. I'm finishing up the head bases today so that I can begin paper macheing tomorrow. Gotta work on three sets of hands too. Still trying to run down free wooden pallets, certain fabrics, lighting... gotta make the bodies too - probably pvc structures. Anyway, here's a look at a few of the pieces as they are thus far. Here's my witch's head - waiting for the paper mache.

Good Morning!!! Busy as all get out here in S. GA. Working on all sorts of soap stuff.... and props for our HUGE Halloween display this year. I'm really excited. Should have started this months ago, but think it'll still come together beautifully. Have a great day!

I'd be careful getting a starter from someone I didn't know. It can be easily contaminated, etc. I'd opt for a kit purchased from somewhere myself, or do research on how to start your own "mother" culture. No studies have been done on Kombucha just yet. Some people drink it for health reasons, some drink it because they like the taste. I think as long as you don't expect it to cure cancer, or for it to be some sort of miracle cure, and you keep the process clean/pure, then no harm, no foul.

:::: yawn ::::: I would have loved to sleep later. Got a lot to get done today. Tomorrow is road trip up to ATL -- I have a concert to attend in the evening.
