There is another thread going about this probably on the 2nd or 3rd page now...Ben Hill Park, across from Regions Bank in Hiram. Lots of food and stuff for kids starting at 6pm - 10 pm. A band too I believe. We went last year and the fireworks were great! Should be fun again this year! It is Melinda's thread (Amazing Variety)...Amzing Variety DID make the update...she was merely updating what had sold out of as of that time yesterday. I had spoken to her and she was being bombarded with people wanting the fixtures when they were already sold. I remember growing up when we would visit my grandparents that they would turn on a window unit when we came to visit (in Columbus after we had moved to FL) and turn it back off when we left...I don't know how they stood it, but they never used the AC unless we were there. LOVE IT ANITA!!! I need to come by and pick up another pair of the Diabetic Socks for my Dad. I got him some for Christmas and he LOVES them! They keep the moisture away from his feet, which is part of why I purchased them as well. I'll be by in the next week or so and pick up a pair. He has everything and actually asked for more of them, so I'm glad I found something not only that he likes, but that are GREAT for his feet! Thanks for carrying them!!! You betcha! I do it all the time! I'm getting a massage next week and she wants a large stun gun...win/win situation for both of us! I have bartered with my hairdresser, Massage Therapist, and other shop owners. If it is a good thing for both of you, it's the way to go! You are simply trading services or products with people...there is nothing illegal about that. Scarlet

$50 is reasonable, especially if he does a great job for you and trims everything. Using his own equipment is also a consideration as it is wear and tear on his equipment, so I think you are getting a reasonable price. Scarlet

Fireworks tonight in Hiram. They will have lots of stuff for kids to do and the fireworks start at 9pm. Parking will be tough, and you will probably have to walk, but they were great last year! Scarlet

Great Pic Tom! For those of you who have not met Tom, he is a great guy and I highly recommend him for any tux/suit needs you may have. Sometimes it is cheaper to rent a suit than to buy one if you only wear it for a special occasion. Plus you don't have to have it dry cleaned afterward! Good Luck Tom! Scarlet

His wife gets to keep some of the property from what I heard on CNN this morning. As for HIM...BOO HOO...cry me a river. He deserves what he gets. People lost their entire life savings because of what they did and many had referred friends to him and feel a lot of guilt for having done so...even though they had no idea what he was doing. He is nothing but a crook and lowlife and deserves to spend the rests of his days in prison, even though it will be with the white collar crimes in a Fed Pen with tv, AC, etc....kind of like Camp Cupcake Martha Stewart Went to, only for men.

It is an excellent class for kids to take that are going to be babysitting. Many of you know that Bruce X-wife has quadruplets and before any of them came home, the ENTIRE family had to take it and learn cpr, etc. Thank goodness they never had to use it, but it is a very good thing for teens to have that are going to be babysitting. I think it gives them a PLUS as far as choosing a babysitter! Hope you find one for her! Scarlet

They have a lot of shelving units, not sure if they are all sold or not, but I'm sure they are up for sale. I know they will be selling everything in the store, including the fixtures, however they will not be available for pick up until the store closes. Melinda has left the store and gone home and I doubt she will check this thread. I would guess they will be open until they have sold everything..or at least for the next few weeks. The news should focus now on more serious matters that affect everyone. The Supreme Leader in Iran has issued a "Shoot To Kill Any and All Protesters" in Iran and the para military group has been shown over the last week to be beyond cruel, beating an old woman to death on the streets, shooting a pregnant woman that went through her abdominal wall and right through the baby's heart, shooting and beating innocent people to death...who demonstrate peacefully for their freedoms...Korea...another important issue...Afghanistan strikes on our military, Bombings still happening in Iraq...Congres
