  1. Continuous ridge vents and a minimum of R-30 insulation is the way to go. Fans will lower the temperature of the attic, but it costs $ to run them, so the savings tend to cancel out.
  2. Thanks! Being a father is the most gratifying thing I've ever done.
  3. I lost my dad about 2.5 years ago. He suffered from dementia so it wasn't the best of circumstances, but I still miss him.
  4. Very cool SS, you have every reason to be proud of your young man.
  5. Good. These people are public employees, the taxpayers have every right to expect standards of decency from them.
  6. One tip to remember......it also takes longer for your muscles to rebuild than it used to. After working a particular muscle group, give it several days to recover before working those out again. For example, do your chest and triceps one day, biceps and lats another day, legs another day, and only do each of them once a week. That way they have time to rebuild the tissue you tore down while lifting. Abs can be done more often, every day or two. But when you do work a particular group, work 'em hard. The old "no pain-no gain" holds true. Do cardio every day if you want, but give yourself
  7. It will get better. Your muscles are doing things that they aren't used to, and there will be a period where they will revolt on you. After about a month you'll start to feel much better, and it will become much more difficult to get sore. I did the same, decided in my 40's to get fit again. I did it about 5 years ago and then hernias took me out for awhile. About a year ago (after I turned 50) I got back into the gym and now I'm in better shape than I was 20 years ago. Stick with it, it'll pay off.
  8. Stay safe Glenn, and thank you for your service.
  9. Haven't forgot about my weedeaters, just been too busy to bring them to you. I'll get around to it.
  10. You'd be better off to spray his butt
  11. I still want a Challenger Guard dad sad face------->
  12. I've got a '97 Ram I bought new. One of the best vehicles I've ever owned. I bought a new Tundra last year but I couldn't bear to part with my Dodge so I kept it.
  13. Being an old Mopar guy, I'm glad to see that you made the cut. Chrysler has done some very innovative engineering the last couple of years and I'd like to that trend continue. Can I have a new Challenger RT8?
  14. As mentioned above, motion sensing lights are a cheap and effective way of deterring theft. When a would-be thief is suddenly bathed with bright light he will usually stop what he's doing and run. Electrical usage of these is negligible. There is also a type of car alarm that is very inexpensive. When armed, they sense the current draw of the dome light when a door is opened. Cheap and easy to install.
  15. Congrats Matt! May God bless your endeavor.
  16. Dang. Loved their music back in the 70's. Even went to one of their concerts when I was a young un.
  17. Yum! I loves me some Cuban sammich
  18. No. A business license in your home county or city allows you to work anywhere in the state. Used to you had to have a business license everywhere you went, the general assy changed that some years ago.
