  1. Where you plug an Ethernet cable in
  2. I've had good service with several brands. We like Netgear at work. At home I have used US Robotics and Belkin with excellent results. I think you'll be fine with any of the major brands. I recommend getting one with wired ports as well as wireless.
  3. We're both adored by women everywhere.......
  4. ^This^ I wear it and constantly get gratuitous smells. If you're after teenage girls, maybe
  5. If you already have DSL or cable internet, all you need is to add a wireless router to get WiFi.
  6. It's your magnetic personality that draws me. Or maybe it's the smell of your shoes.
  7. They've adapted! Rotate phaser frequencies and continue firing Evasive maneuver Guard dad 1
  8. Nah, no mention of the scent of roses in the title.
  9. Ahhh, we're finding out who the P'Com Trekkies are.
  10. In theory, a rebuilt tranny should be as good as a new one. Just doesn't seem to work that way. Of probably 20 or so that I've had rebuilt, I'd say 2 lasted. I just get low mileage trannies out of junkers now. Have the mechanic service it when installing. No problems from these.
  11. Just depends on the car. My daughter has an Accord; it does the same thing when fluid needs changing. And, it has to use a certain type of fluid. Might be worth looking into.
  12. If Jack Reacher had anything to do with it, it's a gaseous anomaly.
  13. Several around, one up on '92 toward Acworth. Unless you wanna do it yourself, I'd let your mechanic handle it; that way he has responsibility. PM Johnboy Automotive here on P'Com, he's a good dude.
  14. Consider using a tranny from wrecked car with low miles. I've had much better luck with these than I have rebuilds.
  15. Guard dad's log, P'Com date 2010 We have encountered a spacial anomaly in sector 2741, and are moving to investigate. If contact is made, Spock will attempt a Vulcan mind meld. Dr. McCoy will also be on the away team, after offering some initial resistance and proclaiming "Dammit Jim....I'm a doctor, not an asteroid chaser." Scotty assures me that his engines will be ready for anything we throw at them. Guard dad out
  16. I'm very sorry for your loss. I've followed along as you've posted updates and prayer requests, so I know it's been a long and hard-fought battle. Prayers for peace and healing:)
  17. May be hard to find, could be anywhere. Automobiles use a 12v DC negative ground system where nearly all things electrical are common to the body of the vehicle. A bad ground can drive the computers and electrical systems crazy. My dad had a truck in the 90's that had a strange problem; the seat belt latch kept catching on fire. Dealer tried several times to fix, but couldn't find the problem. I finally fixed it; the main ground strap was loose and the vehicle was completing a ground circuit through the switch in the seat belt latch. Crazy!
  18. Bad ground somewhere in the system. Starting at the battery, disconnect and clean all the connections from the negative cable.
  19. Sooooo....there's hope for you, COWA?
  20. The problem with most remakes these days is that Hollywood can't recapture the same feel as the original. All the remakes are careful to include multiculturalism, political correctness, rap music, political agendas, and a token gay person. Why can't Hollywood just make good cinema and leave the agendas out of it?
  21. Expenses to business has gone up dramatically. Insurance costs has risen about 30%, unemployment has gone sky high, energy costs are higher, etc. Business is getting their butts kicked right now, and our government doesn't seem to care (sorry to get political). Your post here is potentially damaging to a business that might just be trying to survive. You should discuss this with the owner before trying to turn the village against them.
  22. Glen.....you put your real picture up. Handsome devil you!
