Darn, and I actually liked Ernest. BTW, I think TBAR is Barney- just speculating. Or maybe Gomer... I don't know.
-
I have to admit, Bebe was one of my all-time favorites as "Lillith" on Cheers. She was just so uptight.
-
Welcome back and a round of applause for a true GENTLEMAN.
-
You go, jboogie! You've dazed and confused us to no end.
PS: We know at least 50 or so were actually Mrs. Jboogie posting under your name!
-
Thanks, jboogie. And yes, Butch and Donna at Badcock's are really nice people, too. They sell different lines than we do, so it all depends on what you are looking for.
-
Thanks, Surepip, for the recommend. Yes, I work at Discount City out past the hospital. I do NOT work on commission, so, in theory, I am not going to sell you an overpriced piece of furniture unless that's what you want. Sunset, I am glad to hear you had a great experience with us. As with all things, you can't please everyone all the time. If you are looking for a "cheap" sofa (as in construction) we won't sell you that. We carry several upholstery lines, including: Lane, Clayton Marcus, and Havenworth. If we don't have what you want, we can special order. Our prices are always discounted and delivery is free in Paulding Co.
* Pubby, sorry if I sounded like a commercial....

I don't know about that one, the one I was thinking of was The Marlboro Man. Remember when he made the settlement with the tobacco company with his pseudo-Johnnie Cochran attorney? I think you may be thinking about the underwear photos of George that the postal service (Newman) confiscated.
-
Awwwwwww, how nice of you. BTW, he turned 39- with 7 years experience!
-
Archangel has been working his b*** off, jboogie. He has hardly had time to play Madden, which he got over a week ago. I think he is still plowing through the strategy guide. He has been on 12 hrs, 6 days for a while now, but hopefully it will let up soon. I will tell him you asked about him.
-
Uh, 10 minutes. Usually takes 7.

ALF is the correct answer. What billboard did Kramer appear on?
-
There were several of those refugees from the Legacy visiting at St. Vincent's this morning.
-
Speaking of Jerry's parents...
What TV series did the actress who played his mom (can't remember her name) play in before Seinfeld?
-
Oh, no, you may have stumped me this time, Joe. Let me think about it- I promise I won't do any research either. BTW, very good "long answer," especially the re-gifting part ( a true Seinfeld-ism, along with "fake erase," and "double dipping.")

You mean to tell me that in between working at the Tastee Freeze, marching in band, maintaining a 4.0 average, and chasing girls you were also playing soccer?! Amazing!!
-
TBAR:
There is something I have been meaning to ask you: How does a Paulding Co. born and raised boy such as yourself develop such an undying devotion to the sport of soccer? We didn't even have a soccer team at PCHS until I was maybe a Jr., so it's not like it was drummed into us like football and softball. Please don't take offense, but what gives? I am truly curious.

ZIGGY!
How does the cashmere sweater with the red dot get George fired?
-
Here's a good one:
When Kramer gets the wrong license plate at the DMV, whose does he "end" up with?
-
Oh, yeah! And somebody there was a vegetarian and they tricked them into eating lobster!
-
Yep, that was a funny one. That's not the time Jerry and Elaine had to find a Rabbi to do the circumcision, is it?
And speaking of the Hamptons...remember the one trip they took and George had the, uh, "shrinkage" problem?
-
Naah, Southfire, can't remember the word for "horny", but "monkey" is "singe." Avant-garde, well, some would say it's just "artsy-fartsy." (But you probably already knew that. )
-
Osborne Lock & Security...Mr. Osborne is local (Paulding Co. born and bred) and he has been doing it for years. He and his wife are very nice people.
-
Well, I do remember a steamy TV series a few years back on HBO called, "The Red Shoe Diaries." Very avant-garde.

She was getting sick of hearing that woman talking about her "fi-AN-ce."

Bless her heart... Would that we all felt so strongly about our purpose in life.
