  1. Here is a better answer, hope this helps: My parents do not claim me on their tax return and I don’t live with them. I think I’m completely independent. So why do I need to include their income information? Independency and dependency is determined by the US Department of Education and is not based on where you live or if you are claimed on your parent’s tax return. For federal and state financial aid, you must include your parent’s income information until you turn 24 years old, get married, have a child or other dependent, are a U.S. veteran, become an orphan, or are (or were) a ward of
  2. Everything that I have read and been told is that parents income is required until the age of I believe 24 or 26 unless married. My daughter was not living at home and on her own completley and they required my income. Here is a link to how to figure it. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/fotw1011/help/fftoc01k.htm
  3. It is like the whole nation, work is in short supply. Those are posted daily. When there is a big job that comes up they will employ alot of people off the book at once. Instead of going through the unemployement process and have to keep looking for jobs, you are on a waiting list for the first available opening. There is a chance of layoff as with any job, but you do not have to pound the pavement.
  4. You are not allowed to work as a non union electrician. Also, there are no interviews when you are out of work you sign a book and are assigned a number when your number is called you get that job no interview required. When you start out it is easier to get a job as a helper and an apprentice since it is cheaper to work you. If you show you are good at what you do and your employer likes you then you will stay there it work is available. If you stink then you will be shown the door. You can go to tech school and work for some years in the field and come in as a Construciton Wireman that will
  5. That is correct, that is why I said turn out pay. That is what we all called it when graduated. ibew613.org or look up in phone book and give a call.
  6. I would recomend IBEW 613 all the way. They pay for you schooling so no charge and you get paid while working through the apprenticeship. Like was already said you only go to school one day a week. When you graduate you are well paid. I believe turn out pay at this point is around 29.00 hour. You do not get paid to bad as you work your way up through the years either.
  7. I know which subdivision of which you speak and no I do not live in the no left turn subdivision that I see people all the time entering illegally. I live a little past there and there are left and right turns allowed out of subdivison.
  8. I live down Nebo closer to Bill Carruth on the top of a blind hill with a 35 mph suggested speed limit. People please slow down, nobody obeys it and I take my life in my hands every time I pull out. It is completely blind on my left until they top. If I do pull out, I have the system down pretty good, do not get on my butt honking your horn. This will only make me go slower to piss you off. If you had came at posted limit you would not have been on top of me in seconds. Sorry vent over!
  9. William Farrar love him to death. Both of my children used him and he is great!! Can not recomend him high enough.
  10. I totally agree with spacing the vaccinations out, but just wanted to make a statement that a child is not always immune when nursing. My son was nursed until he weaned and he got the chicken pox when he was 6 months old. His cousin traded pacifers with him when we first noticed the first bump on nephew. My son still got them. They were not as bad as my daughter who got them after and he was not in any discomfort from them. I think it would have been alot worse had he not been nursing, but he did get them.
  11. My daughter did this when she was in 7th grade also. I really did help to prepare her for the SAT when she took it in high school. She knew what to expect. Congrats!
  12. That is the way it is in Cobb. It is for new hires and you have to be there a year before you have access to the hmo and ppo plans.

  15. I just installed the 60 day trial version of Microsoft office home and student 2010. I am trying to open documents for a online class I am taking. When I try and open it comes up with the box that says: Name of Doc: Type: Microsoft word 97-2003 Document I proceed and click open as I have always done with documents then: Windows can not open this file Gives file name To open this file windows needs to know the file that created it.Windows can go online automatically or you can manually select from list of programs on your computer.I click use web service to f

  17. I also use BB&T and am very happy with their service.
  18. They have these in the Nashville area. When my husband was working there alot that is where he did his grocery shopping. Said it was really nice.
  19. I always sell mine to Tommy Kelly Jewelers in Austell. Seems to always have the highest price.
  20. No dont post it next year, it will be less crowded that way. Haha just kidding. I was at Stone Mountain last year also, that was not my favorite. I had never been there before and it was really crowded and we could not even move our car closer. We left that one early before the light show. My husband has a great time talking and socializing all day.
  21. We were there and it was a blast. They kids and husband rode every ride time and again. Get off get right back on. I was the offical phone and misc. item toter haha. I really liked this alot better myself. I did not figure there would be a drawing for prizes from what I remembered the last time it was there they did not have one if I am remembering correctly. The last time it was at Six Flags it was open to public at same time and that was a nightmare. I hope they do this one again, it was a very enjoyable evening.
  22. I think I would protest or double check that. Our high school which is HHS took one from there more than once a few years ago. I do not see how they can prevent this, they have the same ability to write prescriptions as the doctors. I would be calling the county office.
  23. That is what it looked like from the damage to me. Unfortunately I am familar with a left turner turning infront of someone at the exact same intersection. I looked just like my daughters wreck and damage she received. She was 16 and her fault. I brought back bad memories when I saw the pics. I pray the all recover quickly.
  24. I was looking at the picture they had posted on fox 5 and it sure looked like the car was hit on the side and the truck in the front. Either way it is a very sad situation and I pray for the families involved.
