At Chatt Tech they offer the Hope Grant that is available to anyone regardless of need. The one requirement is that you can only do a diploma program and not an associates program. After you get enough credit hours you can switch from the Grant to the Scholarship and finish your Assoc. I saw though that you said that this will only be your 2nd quarter so there is no way you could have possibly accured enough credit to be able to switch. There is a way around this though, there are 2 classes that are offered that the grant will pay for that offer higher level assoc. classes. One is Technical Wr

Just for you information, we were selling a vehicle a few years back that was having trouble passing emissions. When we advertised it we stated that it had not passed. I received a email from someone that said that we are required by law to have a valid emission before we could sell it. I contacted the state about this and sure enough it is true. If we sold it without one even if we lived in a county that did not require one, if the buyer lived in a county that required emission then they could come back and charge us for all the money it took to repair the vehicle and get it to pass emission.

My son wants HID lights for his car
denisedaisy33 replied to tuscanytrailer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My daughter has them and loves them. She is upset cause she is selling her car and they will go with it, not driving to Newnan where she got them to uninstall them. If she messes with them herself they void the warrenty. Dont know how much they were they were a present from a ex. She has the white and can see like daytime. Seems to bother approaching drivers though lol. Her ex had the blue and they were good, just not as bright. She wanted pink, but I put my foot down. That color is illegal according to GSP and they say in reviews that they put of very little light. -
Your the best, take some time and enjoy yourself.

My two favorite places: 1) Bojangles their biscuits are very addictive and yummy 2) Benson's (old Rodneys in Hiram) their $4.99 breakfast special is great. Also their morning server Tina is one of the best waitresses I have ever encountered.

Huh? Minor car accident, comment from at-fault driver's insurance
denisedaisy33 replied to cspringe's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Like others have mentioned, my daughter has been hit two times and both times the at fault driver tried to turn the accident around into my daughters fault. Because of the accident report there was no getting out of it for the offending driver. I am really glad we had them though because in one accident both my daughter and other driver reported the same thing, then suddenly the other driver changed her account and tried to blame it on my daughter. -

Ice on bridge on 92 near Bill Carruth, Slid at intersection of Bill Carruth and Nebo and also slid on Bill Carruth heading to 92.

I just had to go down Highway 92, Bill Carruth and Nebo. I am sure all the other cars hated me I was only going 35 and slowed to 25 on the bridge. Most people did not seem too upset about it though.

Yea, it was announced at one time that the lodge and restaurant both closed. -
I have always been one to not let them cry it out. That is why I only have two kids cause they wear me out so. They both fought sleep and I would rock them until they fell out. They were rather spoiled They are 20 and 16 now and are great kids so the spoiling did not carry into adolecence (sp?). Now my SIL who has 6 would lay hers down and they would go to sleep on their own, I just could not stand to hear them crying. It broke my heart.

This happened to my daughter at school, she was hit and the child was not listed on insurance. They finally worked it out after 60 days and her moms insurance paid. I had contacted my insurance and they were ready to file a uninsured motorist claim, thank goodness it did not come to that.

Switching Rx after a BIG PILL MIX UP!
denisedaisy33 replied to JulietAndKevin's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My mother had something similar happen to her in the hospital. She was in for unrelated cause and ended up getting pink eye. They prescribed her eye drops that the nurse put in a couple of times a day. Every time she got the drops it killed her and she told the nurse that this was just terribly painful and did not see how children were able to stand the pain from the drops. The nurses just shrugged it off as her being a whiner. She brought the medication home with her from the hospital and I read it, it said for use in ear only, do not make contact with eyes. Well they were putting ear drops i -
They have always walked to Dobbins from the neighborhood across the street. My daughter graduated in 09 and they were walking when she was there for her 3 years. I always watched them while waiting to pick her up. One bad thing unless it has changed is there is no cross walk there.
