  1. Oooh, bribery does work well. Once we graduated from the bucket in living room (yes, gross but it worked!), we went to getting Matchbox cars every time he peed on the potty.

Have you tried rewarding him for using it? What is his favorite candy?

    Bribery works well!  :D

  2. I feel your pain! My 4 year old is just now potty trained.

Is is pee-pee or poo? I had a problem getting mine to pee on the potty. He had the poo down pat. I let him run around naked in the house and put a bucket for him to pee in. He thought it was a game and LOVED it!

Help me please. My 4 year old refuses to use the potty. We have tried just about everything, but it hasn't worked yet. I need some suggestions. I'M GOING CRAZY!!!! He is suppose to start pre-k this year and needs to go potty in the potty all the time. Not sure what else to try. I would greatly appreciate any advice you all have. Thanks so much. Jessie

  3. They may but at least they have the address of the residence. I had to dial 911 from my home but I stayed on the line to speak directly to the dispatchers.

911 GETS LOTS OF CALLS FROM PHONES THAT CAN ONLY DIAL OUT .WHEN DISPATCH ATTEMPTS TO CALL THEM BACK , TO DETERMINE THE NATURE OF THE EMERGENCY---THEY GET THE RECORDING

  4. I was about to post the same thing; it is almost year round school now!

as far as i know there are no plans for year round school any time soon, the calender will stay as it is if voted in:  i know that there was talk about night school and day school for students that wanted to attend school at night they could, to help with the over load of students:

but that was just talk i over heard, year round school will evdiently happen in paulding, but look at it now, it almost is year round, we get out later and start  back sooner then we use to, our 3 month summer break has been cut to 2 months,

  5. Ugh, I would really like to see the Dobbins/East Game but, at 9:15 p.m., that is a little late for me!

    Go Dobbins!

Tonight is championship night for Paulding County Middle School Athletic Conference.

Here is a schedule of tonight actions:

Game #1 - #2 East Paulding will play #4 Herschel Jones (Girls).

Game #2 - #1 Dobbins will play #3 Moses (Boys)

Game #3 - #1 Herschel Jones will play #2 East Paulding

Game #4 - #1 East Paulding will play #3 Dobbins

Games start at 4:45.  There will be aproximately 10 minutes between each game.

There will be an awards ceremony following the two 7th grade games and a

second awards ceremony following the 8th grade games.

Congratulations to all teams for a fantastic season and a great tournament.  Good luck tonight to all teams.

  6. You are correct. I pulled this from the DMVS website.

*Appointments for on-the-road tests are mandatory and should be made up to 90 days in advance. Reservation numbers are (678) 413-8500 select option 3 or toll-free (866) 754-3687 (if dialing from an area code outside the metro-Atlanta area).

I thought you had to have an appointment at all of the locations for road testing. If that is not the case please let me know... I have heard it is like three months waiting list.

  7. I don't care how the speed limit is set. I know what the OCGA states about speeding.

hiram girl . You can believe how you want to. Let me ask you this, how does the speed limit get to be the speed limit. Ill tell ya, one thing is the 85th, secondly is the # of driveways off the road, third is the number of intersections, 4th is the ball bank indicator. now go with that one girl. cya

  8. I flat out do not believe that because MUTCD does NOT have preference over state law.

my point wasnt that you wouldnt get a ticket, my point was that you can get out of one using the 85th. I have and will continue if i am right. I went to court in cobb and it is a fact. you dont have to believe me, you pay your tickets and ill walk like i always do. Get yourself an M.U.T.C.D then read it and you will see. I know im in the business to know. Oh ya i wasnt being me by using the term ignorant. Look it up, and you will see that it means not knowing about something. It is different than stupid. thats derogitory not ignorant. ok now challenge that also. cya

  9. I would like to see anyone try to use the 85th percentile rule to get out of a speeding ticket or have a lower fine in Paulding County or Georgia for that matter. They would be laughed out of the courtroom. Here is a news flash for you Halo: The State Patrol CAN ticket you for going 10 miles over the posted speed limit.

ray you are totally wrong. Just because your ignorant of the 85th doesnt mean in doesnt exist. I have explained to all on here about a book that the gov uses to do alot with the roads including stop signs and traffic signals. If you only knew that what you said is wrong today and still wrong tommorrow would you still claim since you know nothing of the 85th And i dont mean anything bad by ignorant, that only means not knowing, doesnt mean stupid. so do get angry but i wil tell you this. You are not going to pay a fine if the 85th is more than your speed that you got the ticket for. Its your responsiblity to find out the 85th on the road your traveling on if it has been tested. What do you think the tubes that are on the road are for? not all are for counting cars. cya

  10. I would like to add that anything over $250.00 must have a receipt to whom you donated the non-cash contribution. When total non-cash items exceed $500 in value, Form 8283 has to be attached to your return. Other non-cash items could include art, real estate, collectibles, gems or jewelry, books, etc. If the fair market value of any items exceed $5,000, then you must have a written appraisal to attach to your return or the appraiser must complete Section B, Part III of Form 8283, Non-Cash Contributions. Document, document, document.

Has your tax person, whom could be you, looked into non-cash contributions to deduct in your itemized schedule A?  This is a grey area for so many, but I have done my research.  Non-cash contributions will reduce your tax bill significantly if you itemized on your schedule A or some call it "going long form".    Did you donate goods at a drop box, church or other charity who picks up?  If you would like to know how to reduce that tax bill by claiming these donations please contact me for having your taxes completed.  You may not have to pay the IRS if you claim fair market value for donated goods.  PM me for phone number and details.

  11. Do you think anyone in Paulding County in power in the 70s would have ever invisioned Paulding County growing like it has? I know I didn't and, surely, my family didn't.

You are right about the landowners though. There are some very wealthy folks because of land sales here. But, that doesn't mean that Paulding County shouldn't have a growth plan of some sort now though.

  12. I don't think the center would have been used just for conventions because that is rather short-sighted. I would like to see something as to have a better place for high school graduations, for one. Has anyone tried to brave the graduation ceremonies at Hiram? I would rather have my fingers cut off. Forget about it!

    exactly...

  13. I don't think you will find a good cheap custody lawyer. :( As for the DNA test, I know there is a LabCorp and a Quest Lab in Marietta. You might call them, they may do a DNA test.

Ok guys I need your help.  I am in need of a good place that I can get a DNA test that will hold up in court.  As well as a good cheap custody lawyer.  I am going for full custody of my daughter.  Thanks for the help in advance.

  14. Cute baby but I am curious as to why your doctor wants him on solids at four months.
