Power company wants to penalize solar in GA
The Sound Guy replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No, not retail price, they buy at wholesale price. When the old meters ran backwards, they were purchasing it at retail price, but now they have new meters that stop that. I can see it both ways, in order to measure how much power was going both ways, The EMC had to install a new, and I'm sure more expensive, meter on the house that would measure power in both directions. Then they had to get it read (either manually or automatically) and fix the billing system to handle credits for purchased power. All this so that the homeowner can give excess power to the utility during the day -

Looked like out of state plates, where the heck was he going to go without his truck? Something funny going on there. -
Well even if it wouldn't help now, they could pass the law this session to see if it got them talking earlier the first time this happens after the next term. The Amendment has a good reason for existence, it's to keep congress from passing a huge pay raise for themselves just after an election and having it for 2+ years before any voter could actually do anything about it.

Dang. Like most kids today even know what a stamp is. I really, really, don't think that they are going to go to stamps for outdoor activity advice. Dang. Just Dang. I thought I was Paranoid. Somebody has *way* too much time on their hands and a govt paycheck if this is all they have to worry about.

WSB video on KSU student Kim Kilgore's road rage murder

Holy Carp. "Sparkles Lashayla Lindsey" Where DO they come up with these names. -
At least at my work, there is a FLEX Spending Account for Health that works as you have described. The Health Savings Account (HSA) is an entirely different beast. You can only have one if you have a High Deductible Health Plan (1250 a year single, 2500 a year family) but will allow you to carry the funds over from year to year.

Ga Outdoor News forum has had many mention they have found larger than normal numbers of Rattlesnakes in Ga. That said, we (knock on wood) have not seen any yet. Most tree rat holes I've seen are pretty small, if they are bigger holes, I've been told these are often armadillo holes. I have bunches of them in the woods behind the house.

Myself, I think it's because they are trying to make something happen, so they are trying too hard, taking too many risks. But without protection for Ryan and without pressure on the other QB by the defense, they just keep doing it until they get hurt. Get Ryan out and put in the 2nd string. The season is over, don't hurt any more of the expensive stars trying the impossible. JMO

GM whatever his name is needs to go with him. Crappy play calling and player acquisition. Matt will end up seriously injured this year, mark my words. Reminds me of the Steve Bart years, great thrower, no line and he got hurt over and over.

I miss having a O line that can actually block. -
LOL. I bet some of them will still be true believers even if you showed them this video...

And I forgot about the poly water line claims. Had the line for the house we bought built in 1991 blow out about six years later. The local plumbers were making fortunes replacing that stuff and did all the paperwork for me.

Yep. D line gets no pressure on the opposing QB, O Line can't protect Ryan for more than 2 seconds. Somebody needs to tell the front office that all the big name stars in the world are useless without 2 good lines. -

Hope the dinner was good. Matt looks good when he has time, but that line needs serious work and the play caller needs replaced. -
If they ask for any kind of funding from you, it's a scam. The lawyers are paid first from the proceeds. That said, I got about $400 from the antifreeze suit against GM in the 70s to recover money I had spent on a repair. And about a 20 cent credit for ebooks from the publishers of them for price fixing.

NEED HELP WITH A COMPUTER................
The Sound Guy replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
First I'd hook the monitor to another pc and make sure it works ok. If it does it sounds like the video card. The fan on my card quit, the card overheated and fried and I got the same no input message. -
Saw a new sign on the county line post coming in on 61 from Bartow -- said something like "Electric carts are legal to ride on some county roads" Why do we need to pay for a sign for that on a major highway?

The Sound Guy replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Sigh. Yep. I planted a plane with less than 20 minutes flight time into the ground due to not understanding the limitations of dual rate. It was my first aerobatic plane and had *huge* control surfaces and I was really scared of them, so I set the low rate very low to get a feel for the plane. Unfortunately, I didn't realize on my transmitter, the *trims* were not affected by the rate switch. I tried to adjust the trim in flight, my finger slipped, pushing the trim all the way in the dive direction and the plane dove for the ground. In my panic, I hauled back on the stick, only to find t -

One other reminder Pubby - If you get serious about using one of these, be sure to check your liability insurance to make sure you are covered if it hits someone or something. As a RC Flyer, our club required members to be a member of the AMA, which sponsored club and personal insurance up to several million dollars.. as long as you were not violating one of their safety rules when operating the aircraft. One of those rules was not flying over people on purpose, which I suspect you would end up doing for news recording. You do NOT want to have your little bird get loose and hit -
Why is everything I want to do the same weekend? Burn Ban expired (I have a summer's worth of limbs to get rid of), Paulding Air show, Powder Springs Celebration and the book sale. Ain't going to be enough time for all of it..

How could anyone think Congress as a whole are doing a good job? You think they have misunderstood the question? (In which case, I get even more scared if they vote)

Dang. I have the hardback of just about every one of the Jack Ryan Novels. A big loss. Reading Command Authority will be bittersweet knowing it's the last of the Ryan Novels. -

Yep, standard RC Planes/helis are almost all third person view control. It makes it totally different flying than "In the cockpit" view since your control sticks reverse depending on what direction the plane is traveling (towards or away from you). "Full Scale" pilots who refuse training 'cause "I know how to fly, how hard could it be?" usually end up buying a new trainer after the first flight.
