Me too. I am sorry that I did not open your topic before posting this. Glad your hubby was not there and I hope all of the wounded make it through this.

I am out of likes or I would like this. We were warned that under this Unaffordable Health Care Act we would have less coverage at a higher cost. It is happening and our insurance in the US is a mess. Obama supporters just can't admit what a failure it (and he) is.

Reports are that there were 6 people shot at the Fed-Ex on Airport Road in Kennesaw. http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/story/25375430/6-wounded-in-shooting-at-fed-ex-building#axzz30H5pDN92 I did not see the topic but apparently it has already been posted. Hopefully Mods will take this one down.

Think of the millions who had health care who don't any more........

Blame it on anything BUT the idiots who crafted it and lied to all of us about it..... It is a bad Law!!!!

You can go by the Dallas New Era and pick one up.

Probably on the Governor if she is in Georgia. Not his fault and I am so glad he kept us out of the exchange. Mr. Dis I am so sorry about your children's medical issues and the insurance problems. They will only get worse under this monster called Obamacare.

Paulding County's only taxi company is under attack
NewsJunky replied to truckman42's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I have sympathy for anybody trying to make a living in this economy but I don't think a 10 year limit on the age of a taxi is too much to ask. If I had to call one I would like to get one that probably won't break down and is somewhat comfortable.- 40 replies

CREW list of most corrupt State Governors... Guess Who's #1?
NewsJunky replied to The Texture's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Very good news for your family. Congratulations. Both Texas and Louisiana have very good responsible Republican Governors who have really helped the economy in their states. Georgia is not doing too badly considering the economy and I think the fact that we still have an excellent credit rating is something to be happy about. I think we are going to continue to gain new jobs with new companies moving here. I really don't think that will happen under a Democrat Governor. -
So, you are in favor of stifling free speech if you don't like what is said?
-
I can answer that, Pubby has always allowed election discussions to be in this forum when they are local.
-
I have not and would not trash Pubby. If you think the label of Democrat is the reason I could not vote for him think again. I have read his political views for years and they are the reason I could not vote for him. He leans more Socialist than Democrat in my opinion. He is entitled to his own beliefs but I am entitled to vote based on my beliefs and opinions.

Georgia is among several other states that have already opted out of the Common Core testing. We need to pull out altogether.
-
More states are opting out each day so how can you say Georgia would put the kids at a disadvantage when measuring course work. If the math is any example Georgia would do well to opt out and go back to the old math programs that really worked.
-
Laurie, you know I respect and love you but this is so unfair to the conservatives that I know. You know that I respect Pubby too but I don't agree with his politics nor his view of the direction this country should take. For that reason I could not vote for him and for no other reason. I suspect he was handed info loaded with dirt that could be thrown at some of the candidates running for Commission. If they are guilty of something underhanded or dishonest they should have to answer for it. Just because I can't support Pubby's political views does not mean I don't value and support what

Thought you might like to read what some of the students think of Common Core so I am posting a link. Some states have opted out and our Legislature had a Bill up last session for Georgia to Opt out. Call your Representatives and ask them to revisit that Bill and vote to get Georgia out of this bad program. Sonny Perdue is responsible for getting us into it. http://www.ajc.com/weblogs/get-schooled/2014/apr/14/students-weigh-common-core/

I have been going since they opened and will continue to eat there. Great folks and great food.

Audry's is one of my favorite places to eat. What is your beef with them. I am sure it is not just the health score.

Guess I have not read the thread.
