Not afraid of that at the new hospital.

They have NO fried foods so the chicken you had was prepared is a more healthy manner. May have been cooked in the oven. I attended a couple of tours of the new hospital and that was one of the things mentioned. I want to try it so think I will go over for lunch soon. I have heard it is good.

I am not taking sides on the airport issue but I have to tell you that I fully expect my Commissioner to know what he is signing. He is speaking for me.

Think that may hinge on a piece of paper that Obama does not respect. It is called the Constitution.

I have decided that it goes deeper that that. I believe there are folks who are consumed with hate for those who have succeeded in life and they want to take what the successful have earned. Never mind that the successful are most likely middle class folks who have worked hard to provide for their families. This is called "leveling the playing field" by some. Class warfare is being promoted for votes. Scary but I think they are being used and it is working.

But video games are graphic with blood flying and limbs leaving bodies. I think it might make folks who play them too much less empathetic with others.

I have to add violent games to this list. Hubby disagrees with me but I am more and more convinced that they can play a part in the way kids react to others.

I care about them too and I honestly do not know what the solution is and how best to protect them. Having resource officers in schools in Paulding helps I am sure but they can't be everywhere. I thought about my Grand Daughter right away and it scares me to know how easily this happened in Pennsylvania.

And of course the list will go on and on until we are back to sticks and stones and then I guess it will still go on and on.....

The kid had to be sick or just evil. Think we will find he was sick. Gun control is at the top of some folks agenda and I think the weapon type is a valid point. Glass Dogs, I believe steak knives have been banned from schools for some time........

Four of the students are in critical condition. One male student in custody after students were stabbed in classrooms and hallway. This just goes to show that a determined sick person does not need a gun to do a great deal of harm. LPPT, I have been thinking about this post and I have to ask, don't you think if your Dad enjoys watching the show that you should just let him without trying to convince him that he is wrong. Does he have to see everything from your point of view? If one of my kids tried to tell me what I should and should not watch on TV we would have a come to Jesus moment right in my living room.

It is up to all of us to seek out the truth. Some of us seem to be able to accept the facts far better than others. I would not rely on one source of news or on the views of some here on p.com. I do however have more faith in some p.com posters to know the facts than I do in other p.com posters.

If by doom and gloom you mean that what they talk about is what is actually happening out there in the world then I would agree with you. You can't run from the truth because it upsets you to hear it.

LPPT, do you know how bigoted this sounds against old people, white people, and men? We need to stop throwing stones at classes of people. I know you better than that. Is this what you really mean to say? Definition of bigoted...- having or revealing an obstinate belief in the superiority of one's own opinions and a prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others.

A free country is quite different from a Marxist country and I do not know one conservative who believes in Marxism as a form of government for America. I know a number of liberals who do,
