Wrong. I do have a problem with a religion that enslaves and abuses women and allows the marriage of children to grown men. Yes it is part of that religion. I stood for equal rights and would do it again. That would include standing against the abuse of women and children.

Facts are facts. What amazes me is how some folks just refuse to accept them. There is trouble and discord in every country that has large populations of Muslims. That is all I said and it is true.

Grand Kid heard about it New Year's Eve. I have not seen a news report on it. Saddened for all who knew him. Prayers for his family and friends.

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope for another year at least as good as 2014. Hubby and I got to have another year together and that was in doubt a while back. Any year that we get to see in together starts off well.

The election is over and the new Commissioners have been sworn in. I will be watching them just as I watched the outgoing Commissioners. I expect them to be the voices for the folks in their posts. At the same time I do not expect them to serve ANY special interest group or big buck donors! They should do what is right and in the best interest of Paulding County. If they don't I will work to make sure they are gone the next election. I expect the County and her people to come first and foremost and I trust that the new Commissioners will see that she does. I don't have to predict it because it is happening. The Mayor in New York asked the protesters to stop for a few days out of respect for the murdered police officers but they wouldn't. You should know about what is happening there, don't you have family in NY. Here is a new round of violence. Should police officers be afraid to protect themselves? I don't think so.
