School Bus Drivers, And Lunchroom Employees, Cut From Insurance
NewsJunky replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Obamacare is driving cost up for everyone except those who get it on the backs of others through subsidies. That is why governments and businesses are trying to find ways to cut costs. We will wait and see how the Supreme Court rules on that. -

Bad medicine to accept it. Some of the States have Governors with some common sense and are good stewards of the state's finances. -

Another one bites the dust because of the cost of Obamacare? It will fall to the counties to provide the insurance without a subsidy from the state. Times they are changing. Guess some of us find the change not to our liking. -
I am wondering if a new company's employees would be Union and if the folks doing the job now are Union? Yes it can make a difference in cost. In general I agree with you post.

Wonder how long it will take them to track down all of those thieves who broke into stores and burned private property? My guess is never. They were the only criminals in this story. -
Gay Marriage: High Court Sets Stage for Historic Ruling

So, you don't think business owners can refuse on the grounds of their religious beliefs? Isn't religion protected under the Constitution? Is it only applied to religions that are not Christian? -

Gay Marriage: High Court Sets Stage for Historic Ruling

I think the religious aspect of the issue changes whether a business should be able to refuse to serve someone. Hobby Lobby comes to mind in the Obamacare issue. Drug stores and the morning after pill also comes to mind. How much is freedom of religion really respected for Christians. Just asking..... -

Because this issue and the folks pushing it want to make others accept their marriage as normal. They will keep forcing it on others who disagree util they win on all fronts. -

Question is, if they rule that all states must recognize gay marriage will they then try to make ministers perform weddings even though it goes against their religious teaching? Court found that a bakery violated rights when they refused, for religious reasons, to bake a cake for a gay wedding and the bakery had to pay a huge settlement. Last I heard they were out of business. Is that right or wrong? -
Character in Seinfeld. If you don't want folks to take you seriously then don't put quotes like that out here. You do know that more folks may know who he is than know who Joe Biden is don't you? They will certainly believe what he says before they believe Joe.
