I do not think it is up to me or anyone else to tell parents what they can and can't do in their homes or cars. I can see the stops or searches it would allow already. Think about that. They just passed one to allow illegal children to get the special needs scholarship. Why? Because they can't speak English. I don't smoke but I think this is an over reach. The government should stay out of your home and car that you pay for. Child abuse is against the law. Tobacco is a legal substance. Until it isn't the government has no place in what you do in your home or your car. Slippery slope.

So you are the one who started this rumor because you misunderstood what Tony said? We have already discussed this and I told you that I talked to the Commissioners too. That is not what they told me. My advice to Tony was to tell you from now on the conversation would be recorded but of course that is his decision.

Why don't you ask the lady those questions. I have no clue what's in her head. I just know what came out of her mouth. I heard name calling from both sides. I think they all lose points for that and told them so. It is really hard to have a conversation with someone who is hell bent on pushing their own agenda with no room for anything else. One thing that I think we can all agree on is that we want truth from all of our government officials. Candi apparently goes after the truth. We shall see where this all leads us.

My thought after hearing her speech was how glad I am that I am not a Commissioner trying to deal with this. One of them asked her to call him and talk about the issue. She said she would never get on the phone with him and seemed to resent the suggestion. She was not happy with any of the responses from any of the Commissioners. He apologized for his response and she still went on about him. No wonder we have trouble finding folks to run for office.

Don't you ever get tired of spreading misinformation. Mr. Brent Sparks who spoke for the event at the BOC meeting said that ALL of the Commissioners had been behind it. You should be ashamed of spreading these rumors. BTW it was repeated over and over by everyone at that meeting that the AIR Show has nothing to do with commercial flights.
