You are not one of the GOP locally or anywhere else. I have been reading your posts for a long time now. I can make any comparison that I think fits and this one does in MY OPINION!! I voted for and supported two of the above mentioned Commissioners and I am very happy about Todd's win. I could not vote in that one. My judgement in your opinion seems to be flawed only when I come to a different conclusion than you do about a candidate.

I have talked to him and I have watched and listened to him speak at 2 forums. I am not taking a cheap shot. This is my opinion and my gut feeling. They did not get the Georgia economy where it is, the Collapse of the National economy got it where it is, and you know it. I trust her to listen to people like Howard Maxwell and to the folks she will caucus with a heck of a lot more than I trust Will Avery! Will if elected will caucus with a minority and will not have the voice that Paulding needs to have. He will also vote with the Democrats as you well know. That is part of the reason that you support him. You will have a strong voice to help you get Avery elected in LTD. I will not campaign for, donate to, or vote for any elected official who supports him.

Excellent post! This is caused by Government interference in my opinion. They lay down rules and laws then provide no money to implement them. In my opinion this does not serve any of the kids well.

Why don't you name those prominent local and state level Republicans who are supporting Avery. Better yet I want to hear them do it themselves. I want to remember who they are. Eric Johnson Donated money in support of a Democrat in Cobb County. You might want to see how he fared in the election he just ran in that County. If they are convinced he is the better candidate more power to them. If they are supporting him they should be proud of that support.

I don't want to take away from the Day Care question here but I think the problem goes back to the government mandates and the lack of funding for them. It has resulted in more inclusion in all classes. JMO

Can't say that I disagree with you about some of the races we have had in the past few years. That is a sad way to feel. I felt that way about McCain. I will not be voting in this race just to vote against Barnes. I will be voting for Deal because I know it will mean less Federal Government control over the state of Georgia than we would have with Barnes. If Barnes wins he will work with those who are in control in Washington to tie more Federal strings to this state.
