Supreme Court upholds key part of Arizona immigration law
NewsJunky replied to Georgia Dawg's topic in RECENT TOPICS
He is already doing it and it will just speed up. He is not enforcing the laws and refuses to allow the states to do it because he and his administration will not pick them up after they are arrested. Some of the numbers which make Obama look like he has deported more than Bush are misleading. They count those picked up and released who move from their last known address. -

He is the one who went around Congress and gave amnesty to around 800,000 illegals just recently. He will go around this court ruling by just chosing not to have ICE pick them up from States who arrest them. He will go around the Court as well as Congress. He swore to uphold the ;laws of the land and he choses not to when it suits his political agenda. -

When it comes to the Obama Administration it does not matter what our Congressmen and Senators do. He just makes a proclamation and goes around the laws they pass. It will not matter much how many illegals are rounded up by checking ID because the Feds under Obama will not pick them up or enforce our laws. Time to kick him out of office. -

Are you trying to run her off with your hit and runs? Really!!! -
Melissa, thank you for having addressed some of my questions. I missed the answer concerning whether or not you supported Obamacare. Did you? Before someone says it does not relate to this office I know that it does. The legislature has had to vote on whether or not to implement parts of it in Georgia.

I have no clue. I was told at one point that she had. Who knows?

As I understand the rules about this she is eligible if she has made arrangements to pay the debt or has made a setlement of some sort.

No, he was still recovering from the accident. I spoke to him during that time about a meet and greet which took place after the debate and he could not make that either. Recovery was long and painful from what I could gather.

I think before folks make accusations they should find out the facts. Doesn't sound like they have in this case. I am losing so much respect for people who just try to fling mud to see if it sticks.

NewsJunky replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I wondered if anyone else caught the reference to the Debate Hosted by the PCRWC in Paulding on June 5th. Lots of topics covered and I am seeing them referenced in lots of articles over the state. I wonder if any of the answers will make a difference to the voters in District 31? -
Will the real BILL HEATH please stand up?
NewsJunky replied to Mason Rountree's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Took me awhile to reliaze that too. I enjoy discussing politics with folks and I do try to remember that it is OK to disagree. +10 for you! Yes but according to Pubby's rules you should not have been. Just my 2 cents. Does he actually work at this or do others in the company do that? Just wondering. -

Not sure I like the idea of looking at folks who post here to that extent. It amounts to calling them out which I thought was against Pubby's rules. JMO -
The American People have wanted them gone for a long time. It is the Government that keeps them here. Why do you think that is? Try proping up Social Security and not wanting to deal with the collapse of it. Does it really matter what the people want or is it more about getting and losing votes at election time.JMO

HB-87 goes a long way in dealing with your position. That's why I support it and I am happy that Paulette supported it. I believe that allowing so many illegals to remain in Georgia with no check on it will change this state. Please have a look at this article. http://www.washingto...f3BpV_blog.html It is not just a matter of sinking the GOP it is a matter of changing our form of government. They come here for the very thing they are killing.

I disagree LPPT. Last count there were over 450,000 illegals in Georgia. I have seen a number of carloads of Hispanics in the last month. Are they illegal? I have no way of knowing that. If they are illegal they should already have been sent home. HB-87 was patterned after Arizona's Law. The Supreme Court will be ruling on that one soon. Some of the GA Law has been put on hold but I expect it to move forward after the court ruling. I disagree strongly with Melissa on this issue as well as some others. They happen to be important issues for me when voting for a Representative.

The Paulding Chamber of Commerce put the Forum on last night. You have your groups mixed I am afraid.
