  1. I need gift ideas for my 5 1/2 year old nephew. Nothing too expensive, but something that he would enjoy. He lives in Florida and is coming to visit for Christmas. Other than video games, I have no idea what he's "into", or what he already has. So I'm hoping the PCOM crowd can help me out. Ideas under $15 would be great. I'm also doing a stocking for him and have already got that part out of the way.

I got my grandson a magic kit when he was that age. He seemed to really enjoy it.

  2. Please remember my 24 year old daughter, who is again homeless and in the Rome area. Her boyfriend left her, and deserted her on the streets. She is at a shelter there, but they only allow her in after 5:00 pm, and must be out by 9 am everyday. She's getting food from a soup line everday, but her future is grim. I offered her to come stay with us, but she refuses to abide by our rules...stays out all night partying with whoever will buy her a drink, and ends up with whoever will take her home, and I can't have that around my 2 young children. Maybe she will reach the end of her rope, and invite the Lord into her life...nothing will change until then....

Prayers for your daughter and for you.

  3. It was the first one I have missed in years*.. I have spent hours getting the Mini horses cleaned, dressed , loaded, judged and then walked the route to keep the crew together. It is the highlite of owning horses to be able to share just a moment with the young ones at christmas. to see the eyes of a kid lite just to touch a horse for second during the parade is what it's all about for us. Hope ya'll remember to thank all those volunteers that help to make this special event happen.

    * had a better offer ot see my son graduate from ARMY basic at FT. Jackson..HOOOAY

Congratulations, to you and your son, BB.

  4. I hope stomp the rider is not a favorite one... :D

Do any of the horse places just have some trail rides for the inexperienced and just looking for something to do?

    Cost?

Each or our horses goes through a year of training to help make them safer for the inexperienced rider. We do things like stumble and fall into them and under them repeatedly so the risk of "stomp the rider" is greatly reduced.

At one time I believe there was a stable at Sun Valley Beach that offered trail rides. Sorry, I only offer trail rides to my students.

It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, 'Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu.'

Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!' said Rosita.

Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time,' Pedro begged.

'But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon.' replied Rosita.

Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me.'

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, 'OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu.'

Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....

'Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
