I received this email from a friend. Any information would be greatly appreciated. It is my understanding that there are 2 horses involved.
I have a very dear friend that is losing her farm in 14 days and she
is totally heart broken as she has to lose her horses. I am looking
for someone that can foster them for her until she can get them
boarded and able to take care of them herself again (she is looking
at possible 60-90 days to be able to take back the responsibility) .
These are her babies and I just talked to her and she is devastated
and can barely hold back her fear and tears of losing them. So, I am
trying to help her out...I love her like a sister and she will pay
anyone back for any and all help she can get for them so she doesn't
have to give them up. I will also do anything I can to help you and
her out if you can help me get them fostered. If it is a large
animal rescue or foster that I can help with a fund raiser or
whatever, it is just tearing me apart thinking she is going to lose
her babies that she has raised from colts. So, if anyone can or
knows of anyone that is trustworthy
that can help please let me know ASAP. She has 14 days to get them
fostered sold or given away and I don't want the later of the 3 to
happen to her. I think it would break her heart beyond!!!
Sending you a pm

Yes, we can. What are you looking for, and what do you want to use it for? We have a really cheap alternative to riversand, it works the same, but it is up to
you!
It is for my round pen and riding arenas.

B, that is a great idea.
If any of you do not know this lady, she is wonderful. Your kids would really be inspired by her!!
Thanks, Shawna, you are very kind.
We plan to start having Cowboy Church at least one Saturday evening each quarter. This would be for the entire family and we hope to have the Circle of Friends kids participate in the service.
-
I hope your furbaby is back home with you soon.
-
What a great idea.....I will run this by the kids later today.....
Thank you! We hope to offer kids a chance to learn how unique and special they are by allowing them to see themselves through the eyes of a horse.
This is a great idea! I wish my niece was old enough, she adores horses!Your niece may be too young to participate but you are welcome to bring her to visit with the horses during the meetings.

Did we figure out why Shawna is trying to do cartwheels?
I think it's because she just sold a house.
-
Do you ever do something weird when you are very tired? And then forget that you did it? And then realize that you did it? And then wonder why you did it?
.................... after all that, I still can't do a cartwheel, the splits or a back bend. I can touch my nose with my tongue....
I can't do that!
-
I have never been able to do a backbend. It was a requirement in gym class when I was in jr. high. I did something that kinda looked like a backbend; just enough for a passing grade.
-
What a fantastic thing to do. Wonderful idea, wish you the best with it.
Thanks, Nemie! By the way, Miss Apple asked me to say "hi" for her.
-
Can you get riversand?
-
Welcome to P.com, tired.

Parents,
Beginning Jan. 18th 2009 LauraLeigh Farms will be offering an opportunity for kids 6 to 16 to get together for Christian fellowship, horsemanship and fun. You do not have to own a horse to join the club or attend the club meetings. We are asking for a $10 per child donation at each meeting to cover the cost of snacks and supplies. At the meetings the kids will learn about safety around horses, basic riding skills, games with horses and fellowship with other kids from the community. The meetings will be held on the third Sunday of each month from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.
Happy New Year and God bless,
LLF

To the Letter
Hey, Shawna, can you do something with horses for me?
-
I don't drink at all but I do enjoy your food.
-
She did and has it proudly displayed in her living room. Thanks!!!
Thanks NJTS!
Why thank you!
(Are you related to the Shepherds?)
No, my husband and I are originally from just outside of Birmingham. Our daughter, her husband and their children are the only family we have in GA.
