yes. yes i do. that's why i didn't make any sweeping generalizations. perhaps instead of declaring that facebook went down you meant so say that one or more of the servers went down? yep. so, either he was on a personal computer, or on a government computer that's somehow still allowing access to social networking sites. dunno. news reported that the marines banned it. s'all i know.

what's crazy is that the freakin' news even came out and did a story on this. everyone wants their gd 15 minutes of fame, i guess. -
not for everyone.

are the marines in afghanistan and iraq using personal or government computers? i know that when we were overseas we could take our own computers as household goods, but i didn't know that was an option for deployment.
-
it's not like *i* imposed the ban. betcha this pissed off a lot of marines!

i saw on the news last night/this morning that facebook and myspace are being/have been banned by the marines. lemme google and see if there's a link.

Wow, "Squeaky" Fromme to be released from prison.

course not. this is america, dammit, and we're free to harass the hell out of anyone who's already paid their debt to society and is trying to salvage what's left of a normal semblance of life. what about the victims? they're still suffering, so should the perp. i swear, i don't know why we don't just kill everyone immediately upon conviction so's we don't have to ever worry about being around any sort of criminal (reformed or not) ever again. /s -
alls well in my little world.

i always wonder what people do when they get out of prison, especially old people who've spent decades behind bars. never having any experience, or giving too much in depth thought, on the surface, it seems a rather hopeless situation. (think shawshank redemption) -
grilled veggie pizza. ugh, you'd think i was single again.

i use jefferspet.com for all my in home vetting. i don't use conventional flea control, but their prices on it seem pretty good. the biospot is fairly cheap, don't know if it'll work for you though.

huh. i never heard of such. but then, i haven't ever rented from mwr. when we bought and licensed our boat, there were no prerequisites.

while my previous post may seem callous, i assure you it was written in jest. (for the most part) HIV is serious. more serious than a heart attack. but it's also preventable. at least so far. it's not airborne, nor has it infiltrated our water supply. shark bites are pretty dang serious too. yet also, 100% preventable. with both, you have to engage in particular behaviours to put yourself at risk. have to. you cannot get accidentally bitten by a shark in your swimming pool, nor can you accidentally contract HIV by hugging someone who's positive, or by sleeping with someone

we've been pretty lukcy with the rhumetologist, only have to go twice a year right now, for xrays and refills. the immunologist pissed me off by balance billing me for bloodwork, even though their in network, so i'm shopping for a new one. oh, and i found a whole bunch of gastroenterologists in the new med center in hiram, so we start there this friday. :happydance: that it's close to home. wish you could find some of our luck. we've had it pretty easy so far. i know the rough stuff is coming, so we're just gonna enjoy it while we can.

i deserved it. pissed her off at lunch. she doesn't think that wanting to make home movies of renters is a very appropriate opinion to voice publicly. one day she'll stop trying to change me. prolly when she leaves.
