not sure if patak's is in powder springs or not, but i still recommend it.

jfc. please say that's not true.

wouldn't say that i'm "scared of the da". just that i don't think it would be appropriate for me to take their time with a generalized curiosity of mine.
-
i'm not sure that it's appropriate to call the da with a random question.

um, wrong hole?

when i was in school ,there was a guy who sold pens for 2 bucks. guess what was inside of them? yep. joints. the vodka tampon thing is just sick.

even if he time is 0 because there's no longer a law against it? perplexed not argumentative.
-
dunno. read up some. it was posted that a parent was asked to provide 6 3" 3 ring binders for their child. edited because i originally said 8. it was really 6.
-
i appreciate your answer, but can you give some additional information? sources, case studies?

if you're convicted of breaking a law, and then six months later the law is done away with......do you have to finish serving out your sentence?
-
i gotta say it. your attitude amazes me. even with all the leg humpers who just can't stand to pass up the chance to come in each and every one of your threads and piss all over everything, you stick to your guns. it's admirable. as is your your perspective on things. we differ, but can learn from one another. thanks for keepin on keepin on.

i lived for two years in a third world country. the poverty was astounding. so was the corruption and money. there was no middle class. you either lived in a 12x12 "house" made of concrete blocks and cooked/heated water with a refillable propane tank, walked everywhere you went, and wore rags or you lived in a place with marble floors/walls/countertops/showers/sinks, drove a hummer or land rover, had servants and a yacht. the difference between the two classes? the first were ordinary citizens. the second were politicians or drug lords. thousands upon thousands of americans

what part of a child's education hinges upon having a digital camera accessible in the classroom? sorry, while it might be fun to have one around to take pictures of the kids doing their work...... (ok, i couldn't even type that with a straight face, what? why does the teacher need to take pics of kids learning?) anyway, my point was that i wouldn't allow my kid to take my camera to school, cause crap like that gets stolen, and the school will just tell you that they shoulcn't have brought it in the first place.

other than school books, which my child was assigned NONE last year.................... it's my opinion that all a child should need for school is a pencil/pen and paper. whether that be looseleaf, or spiral bound. colored folders, three ring binders, colored pencils, dividers, markers, sticky notes, glue............. these things make the teachers job more convenient, and the child's learning experience more enjoyable. but, are they necessary for learning? nope. i usually make sure my kids has pencils, pens, and a few spiral notebooks when school starts. all the other crap can

what the hell is shocking about the red cross not allowing me to donate my blood? it's been discussed here before, a few times. i had a bout with malaria almost 13 years ago, and because of the medications i took, i can't safely give blood. shocking? i think not. i'd love to support their cause, but i can't. bored?
-
would if i could. red cross don't want my bloods.

yay!!!!!! good for you. i know the feeling.

maybe? doesn't someone at the school tell you the bus number and pick up/drop off times? again, i don't have bus riders. how much sense does it make to give each parent turn by turn directions of the bus route, instead of just telling them what time to be out there, and which bus to get on?
-
this is so bizarre to me. so what, they give you the mapquest directions of everywhere the bus goes?
-
i might not understand because my child walks to/from school.....but why do you need to know the bus route? wouldn't knowing the pick up/drop off time be enough?

What have you canned or put in the freezer
