we're not going to replace our carpets, for a while, maybe never. we are planning to paint/seal the concrete floors downstairs. need to know what you recommend to remove the glue residue. floor sander? if so, where to rent?

sounds very scary. i'm assuming your under a doctor's care to get the hcg. make sure you go for health check ups. regularly, with a doctor who's not prescribing the hcg. just to make sure.

mine's what she yells at skeeter as she's leaving.

almost busted out with my favorite quote. but the filter would've wrecked it.

the offer stands...no payment necessary. just holler if you need us. we're almost done gutting our basement, just need to start making trips to the dump now. we'll wait til next weekend to start waterproofing/painting/sealing the floors and concrete walls. it'll be a while until we can do insulation/drywall/carpet and start moving stuff back down there. no insurance, but the basement wasn't finished professionally to begin with. industrial/commercial carpets, cheezy wood paneling....old and kinda crappy. it's a good excuse for us to finish it right, little by little, as the budget allows.

if you want/need help removing the carpets this weekend, i will make sure that my husband and sons take a break from our mess to come help you and haul the stuff to the dump. just pm me and we can work out the timing.

i read it the same way you did. but, i'm by no means suggesting that anyone will be 100% safe by drinking straight from the tap. we avoid tap water like the plague anyway at our house. we use it for tea, but of course, it boils first anyway. we're on strike for cooking right now, too much work to do downstairs.. we're drinking soda, juice, and gatorade, and eating microwaveable crap.

we're planning on multiple trips to the dump, in our pickup truck.

bravo.

dunno. they published that their phones are out, and that their drive thru has damage. but you can still go in and make a payment, or make a payment online.

The water dept (on bill carruth) has NO WORKING PHONE LINES. the operations office (wherever it is) has ONE WORKING PHONE LINE. if you have a problem or emergency, by all means, call it in to the operations office. (770) 445-2761 if you just want information, common sense would tell you to check the website which gets updated as soon as changes are made or new information becomes available. Paulding County News & Updates here's to everyone drying out and staying sane!
